Airsoft in Hawaii?

Postby Switchback » Fri Jun 08, 2012 8:04 pm

So, I'm not exactly where this should go, maybe in general discussion... But I'm not sure it will get anywhere.

Next month, I'm going to Oahu. I'm absolutely stoked, looking forward to it very much.
However, if I could somehow work a game or two of airsoft into this trip, I would be thrilled. I've been Googling, and have found some interesting results; it appears there are actually some places to play out there!
Has anybody had any experience at any of these places, or is there anywhere I'm overlooking that you would recommend?

Moved to General Discussion. It's not off topic, it's about Airsoft.

I attended a few airsoft games at All Star paintball while I was stationed in Oahu. I had a lot of fun there, everyone was laid back and friendly. Lots of kids play there so you'll blend right in. All Star is primarily a paintball field, so it's laid out as you would expect a paintball field to be with lots of cover. Make sure you have a flashlight/laser as the games will go on even after the sun sets. They have some parking lot style lighting on a few of their fields, but there will still be dark corners. I had my own equipment so I don't know about rentals, but I'd be suprised if they didn't have them.

Thanks Matt.
Deep6, thanks a bunch. I'll call them tomorrow night and ask some questions, and do a little research.

I'm currently stationed on MCBH, if you want a partner or whatever when you're here let me know.

So I'm here, drove past the All Star place. It looks good! More when I play.

I recently moved from Hawaii and poweredge is something to pass on as its about the size of a 2 bedroom apartment haha. All Star is pretty sick, they also have Kapolei Airsoft which is a Nice CQB field.

I played at Kapolei Airsoft for about 4 hours. It was amazing, they waived my entry fee and were very accommodating. Not a ton of action on a Friday afternoon, but enough to where I got some trigger time and weird glove tan lines. I had an amazing time!
