Need some honest opinions

I'm just getting my team site up and running, and I'd like the opinions of the fine AP community. I still have some touching up to do, but I'd simply like to know what you think so far. If you have any tips or suggestions, please feel free to post them. I'm open to ideas.

Your color choice is all over the board. Change the background off of a hard black to a dark grey, preferably cool as opposed to warm. Change the yellow, cyan and white text. The contrast is to high between the text and the background and posts that have a lot of text are going to be hard to read. Choose a color theme for the overall page and you'll have much better success. Go to kuler.adobe.com for some color choices that work together.

I've been thinking about the colors myself, particularly with the text. I appreciate the feedback and the link

Get a real domain, free domains are garbage, slow, and since you don't control the content of the advertisements on the page they are prone to feeding up malware infested ads. Your colors are all wrong, you've got black, lime green, puke green, baby blue, yellow, and purple going on with the text. This is annoying and doesn't flow well at all. Pick a particular palette and stay within those colors.

@Stark, the music on your site really, really needs to go. Warnings or not, it's absolutely retarded. Send that shit back to your 1998 Geocities page where it belongs.

I'll worry about a real domain when I've got a little extra cash. Trust me, I know the suckiness of ads.

I was thinking of going with a black and red scheme before like Bad Karma did, but started experimenting with the MARPAT uniform with a rifle on it for the background which caused me to start screwing around.

I'm going to find a good palette with just a few colors and stick with it. I sure do appreciate everyone's feedback.
