That's the point I'm trying to make, calling one is the optional part.

This commuity has respect for each other, well at least some I guess have respect. But whats so hard in saying, " Safety Kill!" ?????

It's not hard. I've called them enough.

I only said they don't have to be called.

The issue being that some people feel that they're required.
Others feel that they don't have to take it when it's called.
The latter is what makes me stop calling safety kills when playing larger games with people I don't know. The last big game I was at, I called a safety kill on a kid because he stuck his face around the corner, made eye contact, I called him out, then he slowly backed around the corner and proceeded to throw a grenade at me.
It was even on video, so that's how I was sure it was this same person.
That's one experience. That's the shit that makes you not give a shazaam about calling safety kills on people you don't know.

Like McNair said, at bigger games with more people you just have to shoot them, regardless.

I have trouble getting people to call their hits period.
About a month ago I was at OAA, it was me and a bunch of those annoying little Mexican kids vs. some older guys who seemed to be pretty new. One of them was standing with his head and gun exposed behind cover. I hit him 5-6 times in the mask, then 3-4 more times from another angle. He didn't call ANY of them, then he hit me, I respawned, he went to another angle around a corner. I hit him AT LEAST 6 more times and he didn't call any of those either. Then I ran up and lit him up from 15 ft away and he FINALLY respawned. He seemed to think he was the juggernaught or something... It's people like that that really piss me off.

No one is talking about people not calling regular hits, $tealth. Stay on-topic if you really feel the need to draw out a discussion over rules that no one will be changing.

Overall, this seems like an enforcement issue. People either don't understand what constitutes a legitimate safety kill or they just don't accept them when they are used correctly. Complete admin saturation on the field is the solution to most any rule dispute.

Yeah I know forgot to add a little bit about staying on topic. My gramma's mac logs me out when I try to post somewhere and I often get lazy and don't right the whole of the original post. Sorry about that.

Anyways...

That's really all it is. An enforcement issue. More admins would help, just that it's sometimes hard to get more of them, I would think.

Admin can't fix everything. People need to be responsible for their own actions. Every person playing should read, and understand the basic AP games rules. Aswell as read, and understand the specific rules of the events they attend. Players that don't read, and understand the rules are the real problem at airsoft games.

Yes. The only thing that will really fix anything is people reading and obeying the rules. Perhaps more safety talks and an overview of the rules before games. Especially if there are a lot of new people there.

Safety rules are gone over at almost every game. A fifteen minute safety briefing will not stick in peoples heads, as much as actually reading the rules. Players need to be more responsible for themselves.

I think standardization is the key. Just like every game has the same hit rules (with very few exceptions ie CQC comps) People don't argue about no gun hits don't count, gear hits don't count, ect. because people always us the same set of rules.
