By "ANY" I assume you mean Bio only fields.

I think he ment in general. In all honesty though, you should use bio ammo just because your outside. Lets face it, the earth wont save itself, and we all live on it so take care of it! What would be nice is if you had non bio ammo and you could trade it for a bag of bio ammo plus a few bucks. That way if someone doesn't know, they can ask without feeling like a looser, and still be able to play.

What are we supposed to then do with the non-bio ammo? If most of the cost of the bio is absorbed in the trade in, thats not a very wise business move on that persons part thats accepting the non-bio stuff. He or she probally doesnt have a outlet to get rid of it.

I had said in the past I will be doing a community bio ammo order. I will post something up about it soon.

I rarely post and consider too that I am from Minnesota, quite a ways away. You want him to basically take a hit by giving you ammo so you can play? Isn't that called sponsorship? My opinion of this situation is that if you don't want to play by the rules of the field you can just not go. I have never met Riddick, but from what I read on these forums he is more than helping the community. Not only that he is even going to stock ammo that realistically is only needed at one specific field, which he probably won't profit from much to begin with.

than being you dont know me, or what is going on I suggest shutting up. I wont go into how ammo pricing and retail works go take a economics class for that, and last time I checked ammo works the same at any field when shot out of a aeg.

Why? Sounds to me like he understands what is going on?

Also, sentences start with capital letters--type like you're educated, not one of these kids.

I see where you guys are going with this - a discount on bio ammo for turning in non-bio would be a good incentive for people to get rid of their non-bio rounds and might help to spread awareness overall. I like the idea. I'd rather just shoot bio exclusively myself, even indoors. Arenas just throw it away.

people don't read to clearly either...

What would be nice is if you had non bio ammo and you could trade it for a bag of bio ammo plus a few bucks.

What economic sense would this make?

I take a bag of non-bio and trade it for a bag of bio ammo plus a few bucks ($3) and then throw away the non-bio ammo.

So let's see...

non-bio ammo value = zero cuz I am going to throw it away

my bio ammo has cost value of $13.00 shipped to me, that I will accept $3 for thus losing $10.00

yeah sounds like a great deal.

or

How about we have a trash can that people throw their non-bio ammo away and just buy a bag of bio at cost $13.00

that sounds like a better idea.

So what would the one who "buys" all the non-bio do with it all? Basically they would be taking in a large stock of ammo that is being phased out in the NW outdoor play fields.

I think it's fairly simple. Use bio. If you don't and get caught, don't come back, if you don't want to use it, don't show up.

People are going to phony pony that the ammo isn't cheap enough, or that it's the wrong shade of pink, or that it's not round enough. Shit, if it was given away for free people would phony pony.

If you really have a big issue about it from the field requiring it, or to who is selling it, or to how much it's being sold for, then get your own field, sell your own ammo, or buy it in bulk from your own source.

yes actually I have, I just started putting together a order for a couple tons straight from the factory, why pay middleman? and you know as well as I do Rick, the money we make on the retail side is none of anyone's business so why post our margins? and payback? that comment was made about 3 pages back.

The ammo I sell only a select few sell. I gave away the price of one. That was a price I didn't make a secret for the sole fact it was the ammo I used for the field ammo to show those with the tin foil hats that I wasn't making crazy profits off the ammo they had to purchase.

Other than that no prices have been given away.

I also do not want to deal with $5K+ orders anymore. I don't care about the profits of ammo so much anymore since I have a shop and other revenue streams. Some business consider airsoft ammo "loss leaders" and will price it in such a way to get people to come into the store that they break even or actually lose a buck or two.
