my experience was not that people werent calling there hits. its that they say "HIT" then just stand there. then randomly start shooting again. this happened multiple times and was really annoying. my whole team saw this happen multiple times and sometimes the admin was right in front of the gun doing it and did nothing.

as a specialized charter i got to be on both sides for the rez game (i was the sheriff for phase 1 and scientist for phase 2) base on the command structure and the commanders attitude/preparedness i do not find it a surprise that the military won for the game on saturday.

on the mitary side they had printed maps, i heard there was a skype meeting before the game and a battle plan, everyone seemed to know what their mission objectives were, and the CO and XO was in communication with the squads through out the game

as for the survivors side, no one had a map until rick handed some out, a lot of people had no clue to what the missions were, and radio etiquette was poor.

syntax you can say that survivors lost due to the lack in private forums participation but riddick already manually added the people in one by one. the rest was up to you to keep your team informed (through PM's, email, or any means necessary) throwing 50% of your team under the bus isn't going to make you look any better.

and as for that kid on the radio that yelled: "i'm behind the tree with moss on it i need reenforcements" that was the most hilarious thing i've heard at a game

Great game. I only stayed Saturday but I was sleep deprived and sick as a dog. The prepay works! It made me come because I didn't want to pay $25 and no-show. ;-)

Good game. I saw hit calling 99.999% of the time on the survivors side. There were a few times people were getting mad on both sides about hit calling, but I saw a lot of BBs falling 20 feet short in 300ft engagements. If they don't call it, move up and shoot until they call it. Even if Phiz calls you pond scum.

A-TACS FG sucks.

IM OUT.

Did you bother to say anything to the Admin?
We can't see everything that goes on. When we get reports about someone not calling hits, we investigate. We observe. Most times the accusing shooter is out of range and not even coming close.
If we observe someone we think really isn't calling their hits we honor check them (read: we shoot them and see what they do.)
I would say that in 90% of instances when someone accuses another of not calling hits it's simply because they are out of range and falling short.
Believe me, as an admin I lust to find that 10%.

Don't take the law into your own hands and start shouting, "Call your hits!" or "I saw you flinch, are you gonna call that?"
That dialogue leads to problems on the field. I don't want to have to break up a fist fight over a bleeding BB gun game.
If you think someone is cheating, call an admin.
If your complaint is that there is no admin around; might I suggest you invest in A RADIO! With this neat technology, not only can you radio for an admin when there is an issue, but you could actually participate with your team within the command structure instead of lone wolfing it.
On Saturday, I never heard a single request for an admin over the radio regarding hacking. That's pretty interesting considering the amount of whining I'm hearing about people not calling hits.

As to the accusation that the player admins were being bias or unfair: With all due respect, shazaam You! You're talking about members of this community that have played here with honor for a very long time. Players who have "established" their reputations as being fair players.
I had zero interest in who won or lost the game. In fact, I only player administrated for about the first hour of Saturday then I put on my high vis vest and just admin'd for the remainder.
If you think my response is a bit harsh, consider the fact that you are essentially accusing me of cheating, and I don't appreciate that in the least.

Win or lose it was good time.

Thanks Riddick, admins and command teams for all the time and effort you put into the event.

Had a hell of a day running all over the field knocking out the military offensive objectives like targets down range.
Survivors thanks for sacrificing yourselves as movable targets, had a great time lighting you guys up all day.

Can't say that I experienced all this hacking, by either side, that's getting thrown around but I did see a lot of bb's rolling toward me and touching my toes so I guess by someones definition that's hacking 'cause a bb touched me that didn't come out of my gun or my ammo bag. Yes, you are too far away. You can't somehow magically have a replica that hits a torso sized target 250ft in the field and only 150ft at home in your yard. Learn how to determine distance and quit whining. There are a lot more honorable players out there than you think.

Out.

I agree. Had a great time except for the beginning of the second game.

As a survivor, I can gladly say that I didn't sacrifice myself, I just happened to be put on the team made up mostly of cannon fodder... ;)

I defiantly felt the hacking. Semi-only, capturing an unconquerable respawn point, and the rest of the lot made up for kind of a crappy time during phase two... But I loved Sunday's rush game! Had a great time over all!

I only saw hit calling issues on the second day and I don't care it was just a fun game that didn't matter too much. I just wanted to try my new M28 and have fun. I will say I feel bad that guy didn't call his hit and I kept hitting his right elbow 8 times at a solid 530fps gonna hurt to jerk it later. The other was at the end 80ft out shot a russian in the back and the group turned and pointed at their arm bands so James and I just laughed and fired more. All and all I had a great time and love Rick's games. Good beers with good guys after a great game so I can't complain.
