Harper's game was great. Not too cold but still plenty of snow on the ground + sun. It was noisy to crunch through.

So have I. In fact, I recall bringing more cold weather gear than warm weather gear. Sometimes I've played in the snow with no warm weather gear at all!



Layer. Stay dry. Being dry is the key here. If you get wet, you'll get cold. Wool helps a lot with this as it still warms you even if it gets wet.

Well of course I have the right gear, I live in Oregon. I've got lots of layers for when it gets really cold/wet.
