Rustoleum and the likes

Postby icebullet » Sun Mar 11, 2012 12:12 am

Can anyone provide me with a paint can code/color that can give me a dark tan, similar to Multicam?

It'll go on a helmet, real ballistic one.

Also, spraypaint general.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

Just put a helmet cover on it. I don't understand the tacticool hatred of helmet covers, they're better than painting because they have no shine.

Helmet cover for sure.

If you want a true painted Multicam coloration, you are doing to have use Duracoat or Ceracoat. Krylon and Rustoluem don't offer the colors you need.

+1
I know how exactly frustrating it is I have the same problem. I think they buy it offline.

Mine don't shine either. Flat paint works like that...

I get mine at NAPA(as it's like 4 blocks away and I can put it on a company account), they have all sorts of colours in krylon. I usually only grab OD and black.
I was at BiMart and they had no flat krylon. But they did have teh textured stuff by another company.

Well, Fred Meyer has more of the "Camo" line of colors.

But those aren't all from Krylon's "Camo" line.

I thought that all of the "81xx" colors were from the Camo line?

They are. I just meant for the hunter green color.
