From the CO:
O.D. Knight is a mil-sim driven airsoft concept. Our focus is to maintain the fun aspect by employing real world proven tactics into the Airsoft battlefield. A good candidate for this team is someone who is open minded, willing to learn, team oriented, and does not have authority issues.
We believe that there is a time and a place for goofing off, then getting to business. If you're an active Airsofter you'll understand the difference between a team who is disciplined versus not. We all naturally go into sports with the idea of having fun and winning. With this in mind we have tailored our concept to emphasize both fun and a higher chance of success at all times.
Uniform Standards:
Pants: Woodland Marpat (Multicam by 6-1-12)
Top: Woodland Marpat (Multicam by 6-1-12)
Vest: Open (prefer no ACU, but doesn't disqualify)
Boots: Open
Headgear: Open (shemagh encouraged)
Radio: 1-2 (2-Way Radios)
AEG Requirement:
We require that you have an operational AEG. The type of weapon you choose to have is up for you to decide.
Field & Classroom Training:
In order for our team to succeed training is a requirement, both on and off the field. This allows you the individual Operator to fully comprehend the tactics & procedures being taught, and employed by our team.
Membership Location:
We are open to members being around the Portland Metro. Seeing as this is a niche game we must keep an open door for all who are interested in participating, and accepted into the team.
With that in mind Training takes place in Gresham OR. We will travel to AP events as they arrive / we sign up for them.
Skype
Is required for online team meetings. This will allow us to discuss upcoming operations and other priority essentials.
No Membership Fee:
While there is no membership fee, we may ask for donations to buy "Team Ammo," or other related "Team Gear," where any member can benefit. However there is no obligation monetarily other then to ensure that you are able to purchase your own gear and equipment.
Chain of Command:
We will have a chain of command in place to maintain organization on and off the field. This does not mean you will have someone demanding you to do outrageous things, it just provides structure and cohesion, both of which are critical to mission success.
