I would want to start as early as possible.

Honestly, A start at noon is fine, For some reason i feel like theres not as much chaos going on when the OP starts later.

Call the Op for 9am, so we can actually get started by say 10am.

10 am. On the coast the wind starts blowing, so unless you want to arc your shots you need to start earlier. Or play strictly in the wooded heavy wooded areas.

10-11a... I tend not to wake up until 10a, but if I set an alarm I can get up by 8-9a.
I'm no gearwhore. I prefer "Connoisseur of Fine Tactical Garments".

Earlier.

The longer we stand around waiting for people to stop gossiping, the more and more stiff I get standing around in full gear.

I like stumbling out of a campsite at 9:30am, eating some food at a nearby grease-shop, or eating some grill food as I sit around and recover from my hangover and catch up with all the old AP'ers that I never see except for these big games.

Who cares about the game. We're there to say hi to each other, show off gear, and then play an hour of game always hovering near a photographer for facebook photos, before saying we sprained something and sitting at the cars smoking until our ride gets bored, too.

11AM.
