That was fantastic! The most fun I've ever had being shot and my favorite moment of the game. As I was a high value target the noggin was a perfectly acceptable target.

A perfect job as a sniper passing up other targets. My hats off, or at least the top of my skull...

Was it tossed into the log fort next to the COS spawn?

That's what I heard from the player that gave me the frag. Or it might have been the other log fort in the woods. I just heard log fort.

Pending your wound (all of mine were criticals), it would be quite an extensive wait period. 5 Minute sit down from being hit, 3-5 minute walk, 3-5 minute wait at CCP, 2 minute walk from CCP - UAF Hospital, 8 minute wait, 5 minute walk back to the frontline, now repeat this 3 times.

5+5+3+2+8+5 = 28 minutes per critical wound. Now multiply that by 3, and who ever I was voicing my opinion too inside of the UAF CCP will understand my frustration.

It's not wise to take away from customers in this sense. I thought it was a very innovative idea, but needs some serious review to avoid such long-term downtime from trigger pulling. Don't get shot? No shit :), unfortunately it happens.

Actually, I wasn't passing up targets. I had taken 3-4 of the guys there out by the time I shot you. You just happened to stick your head out while I had my scope on the kid right next to you... I didn't even know you were a high value target at the time. I just saw an opportunity and took it.

The only issue I had was when Bad Karma and I went around to the back and ended up ambushing some UAF as they were respawning. Then we were told we were "out of bounds", so we moved back "in bounds" and the UAF forces proceeded to advance toward us from where we were just told we were out of bounds?

I was with the UAF, and apparently it was a big misconception,

There are hackers, whiners and bitches at every game. It's the nature of the community. I think this game stands out for being innovative, well organised and good spirited. I've nothing but good things to say about PF and their handling of the event and only praise for UAF for excellent sportmanship,

I'm grateful to Warchild for his undeserved praise. I really wasn't playing up to standard and I had to quit about an hour early. I got home and fell asleep around five PM when my meds wore off.

Praise needs to go out to Code for keeping us co-ordinated, Liquidsnak for keeping track of me all day and adjusting his play style to cover for my weaknesses and to Warchild for doing an sterling job under very poor conditions.

My AAR on the event now that I am rested.

First off the stats...

UAF 850pts.
COS 600pts

UAF Wins....Now I have to rewrite the story to make sense cause you guys messed that up.....lol All good.

First to the players.
I would like to thank each and ever one of you personally for making it out on Saturday. Running on no sleep and hosting the biggest game I have had to date was very stressful. We have been trying really hard to improve our games each and every time we host an event. We spent a lot of man hours and money on developing the props and game play styles for this game and hope we can continue to do this every game we host. I personally do not like to see sector posts at events that aren't $15 or less, so that is why we are doing objective based game play. I hope everyone liked the prepay option that we did for this event, because we wanted to make it as affordable as possible for everyone.

To the Teams that made it out in force. Nothing is going to bring this community together more then to have 80% of the major active teams all in the same place for a game. That is why we have the team discount. In the future, we will have more interactive props, but as you all know, we have to make the money to spend the money, and that is why I think our game consistently get better. If you were at OP: Sundown part 1, I am sure you can tell that we have been working pretty hard.

As far as the respawn rules go. This was a new respawn conceived and implemented at Sundown 3 for the very first time. We didn't have a trial run, but instead of just simulating the life part of the game we also wanted to try and simulate the death side. I think the overall idea is very innovative and fun, but as most of you have said it needs some tweaking and I agree. I have already been brainstorming how to make that idea better and more "Everyone" friendly. You can expect to see the same concept at Sundown 4, and 5.

All in all I really hope everyone had fun, and hopefully we will see you again at 4 and 5.

To our sponsors,
Oregon Airsot Arena
Airsoft Outlet NW
Superior Airsoft
Tac-Ops Airsoft Arena
Airsoft-Glow
Nike, and all the other sponsors that made this possible, we thank you and hope to continue to make Airsoft fun for everyone.

Yeah completely agree, I would only have 10 head wounds and switch the extra cards to arm wounds or maybe leg wounds...perhaps both.

Chesty I want to make sure you know.....I thought the game was a great success. Loved the prepayment option.

That's what I heard from the player that gave me the frag. Or it might have been the other log fort in the woods. I just heard log fort.

I charged into the log fort outside of the village and died. When I did my time and left, a UAF player outside of the fort handed me a heavy real steel grenade, and said "Someone on your team threw this into the log fort." I gave it to an admin, as I walked back to the village because I could not find the owner after asking around. This was a couple pounds of metal being heaved into a structure from above. Who ever decided that it was okay to throw such an object should rethink that.

All and all, I had fun. As most people said, simplifying the respawn would be nice, but I can understand completely that first time ideas aren't always to everyones exact liking. Although it was an interesting twist that I enjoyed. Plus, it gave me the needed time to reload.

Thanks Chesty and PF for putting on a great game. :D
