Postby mjr_mason » Thu Feb 02, 2012 12:52 pm

Hey, all. i know i never ever post, i mostly lurk. most of you know me from games and ops, Erik Mason of the 808th [dude with the giant camo truck].

i figured i would let you all know, we are opening a new airsoft store here in vancouver. ThunderKissNW, it will be at 13412 ne fourth plain blvd, vancouver, wa. right nect to a gas station near the new armed forces reserve center on fourth plain blvd. the owner has been operating a successful online only store for several years and we are now taking the next step and opening a brick and mortar storefront. we hope to have our doors open on or about March 1st this year. if you have any questions, visit the site @ thunderkissnw.com or email me @ mason.thunderkissnw@gmail.com . thanks all and see you there! Mason

What are the odds...too funny. More airsoft love for everybody!

Good luck! I can't stand the couv but I'm glad there's stores somewhat conveniently located for North Portlanders like myself.

things are taking off rather quickly so i think everything will work out well. i love the guys at airsoftoutlet but the drive to cornelius for a $10 part is not terribly enjoyable. i am looking forward to being able to actually help out the airsofters in the vancouver/north portland area.

THANK YOU!

This is about 15 minutes away from my house! I can't wait to come check it out!

Airsoft in the NW seems to have really been picking up within the last year.

I thought about that to until I realized how many people play here in the NW. I think its due to the environment, and the well established community we have here. You would have be stupid not to open any stores here. Just look how many people visit this site alone. 49931920 since its start, and that's still counting!

I am going to go ahead and answer this since many will be able to notice this.

ironically yes. pawn shops and coffee shops among other types of business coexist with competitors not to far away.

I am sure we will both do fine and if not, time will tell. Unfortunately I don't get the choice of choosing another spot, we are also a gun store afteralll.

But anyways. good luck to you guys and welcome to the neighborhood.

What's funny is that I've been selling in Vancouver for 3 years. I've pushed customers to other shops for something I didn't have or was out of.

I'm not worried about another shop being down the road from us. In fact this will only help out all the locals to make sure they get a good selection!
We have the best pricing in the NW for airsoft gear.
And now we offer the best indoor experience for our great community.

It's great having more local options. I'd rather buy local than online any day
