I agree it will take the realism out of it. The helicopter needs to at least hold 5 to 6 people, and have a solid color preferably OD.

Yeah. Exactly. My neighbor in Jefferson used to rent a Black BH6 for xmas trees, it's not a far cry from what they used in blackhawk down. Mean looking helicopters are out there.

We used Carl Orff's O Fortuna , much better than Ride of the Valkyries .

We did a LRRP insertion at an Air Show one time , it cost around $5000 in insurance , but it was awesome , nothing like flying over Tumwater and Olympia in 2 Huey's escorted by a Loach and a Cobra , it brought back awesome memories.

I believe the state of Oregon was paying $15K/hr for the Chinooks when there was the "Dollar Forest" fire or whatever.

I think the idea is awesome. But only if everyone gets to go along for the ride.

Only people with waivers, and the training. I think before a game with a helicopter there should be some training(that's if the helo doesn't have doors).

We just need someone to win the lotto, and buy a blackhawk and have it at games ready to rock. As long as you can fork out the cost to run the damn thing.

Pro helicopter pilot here:

There are companies in this area that can rent helicopters.

R44 (which can seat 3+pilot) will run 500-600 per hour typically, all the other helicopter types are going to be higher, typically over 1000 an hour at the cheaper end.

If an event is only looking for a small 2 seater who's purpose is to shoot at players, this is easily accomplished. If an event is looking for a one off insertion that too can be done, at a much higher cost. If an event is looking for a helicopter to be used all day and move people around, win the lottery.
