PCU lvl 5 help

So I'm sure some of us who live in Oregon understand how cold it could get and how much snow some parts get. Well I want to get some PCU lvl 5s but I want to get some good one that I get down and dirty and expect them bot to tear easily or stuff like that. I found a 70$ pair of lvl 5 PCUs on ebairsoft and I have never ordered from them and I don't want some chinese crap (no offense) I want to buy from a place that's worth the money. Please help out, much obliged.

Don't get EB replicas, they have a reputation for tearing at the slightest touch of a branch.

I have the propper APCU set of level 5 in Alpha green. I am happy with them. You'll need the under layer though. You have to understand that level 5s don't make you warm they help you stay warm by helping to keep you dry. So get the APCU Propper level 5s and a level 1, 2 or both of your choice to wear underneath. The last time I went out in the cold I wore a level 1 ECWCS, a thermal pullover and the APCU level 5s and I was good. APCU is onsale at uscav.com for over 50% off. Do it!

You can order two Level 5 PCUs from BeyondTactical, they do custom fit orders for the military. Get one, sell the other.

Still china man. If your looking to get some cheap, but not Chinky PCUs, then your best bet is what Cosmos suggested of getting Propper.

Personally I've been very happy with my condor soft shell that I've worn just about every day for a year along with my chinky soft shell pants off rsov.com.

I have the propper one and it's pretty nice, just not very much like the ORC or Patagonia ones and it doesn't have a hood.
