A lot of people will wait until the last week or two. A lot of people(myself included)don't like to sign up for games until they are sure they can attend.
Also expect numbers to show up without signing up and the inevitable no-shows.

The way I read it(correct me if I'm wrong, Tim)is that you need the shemagh/turban if you're wearing civilian clothing.
