Gun feeding problem

Postby Osprey » Thu Dec 01, 2011 7:05 pm

When I put the clip in my gun nothing seems wrong. When I squeeze a couple rounds off the bbs stop, and seem to get stuck in the hop up. The hop up is new, and the gun shot perfect untill I used my riends Mid cap magazine. I've already tried to make the hop up tighter to the gearbox because that could be the problem. The gun is a 416 model, and I want to know if anyone else might know of anything else that might be wrong with it that I missed.

Have you tried switching magazines? Think inside the box my friend. If that doesn't work, I would check your hop-up for the problem. I'm no genius with internals, but it only seems logical that your hop-up is causing the problem(Judged by the non-specific info that you listed).

No the hop up should be fine I shot 600 round threw it just yesterday. It just started acting up today after I put my friends crappy mid cap in(Yes I switched mags it was a test fire type of thing. I'm using my high caps now.).

It might be because the hop up was fitting loosely due to the erosion of the plastic where the hop up sits on. Causing the Hop up to face in a slight downward position. Which I think I fixed just twenty minute ago.
