Without incentives, there is no reason for people to do anything, and airsofters are very, very lazy (and stupid).

I like this idea, however I have a few arguments:
first, I am sorry I had only a 36 hour notice for LOW4, my ride broke his foot not 2 days before the game.
second, I have a huge concern for the prepay method, mainly with the online/bank transaction. Some of the younger players (including myself) may not have the ability to do such a thing, so may I suggest: Paying for a game while on-site at a previous game, or if it is somehow possible, have a deposit system at some local airsoft locations (stores, etc.) I visit Airsoft Outlet quite frequently.
And last, but not least. The yearly ban of a 2nd no-show. I think It would be fair If you either raised the number of warnings, or shortened the time-period of the ban. Because some of us are unlucky enough to have unfortunate events, such as a friend breaking their foot. But to also be banned from your favorite activity/hobbie? I personally think that is am unfair situation.
Recap: I still like the whole idea that riddick has shared, but I have legit concernes for a few minor details.

He already said he would accept prepay at other events he attends (he goes to a lot of stuff).

Being banned for 1 year is not being banned from playing...simply from RSVP'ing without prepay. Anyone is still more than welcome to show up the day of and pay on the spot (for more than the prepay/ RSVP possibly) or to prepay the whole fee in advance.

As far as I have understood from reading, the ban would just be from the current system, where, by honor, you reserve a spot on a team, not banning you from showing up and playing.

All no shows will be flayed and flogged publicly. Their remains will be quartered and whisked away to the 4 corners of the realm so as to show others, that no-showing will not be tolerated.
