Multicam

Postby Gator » Mon Nov 21, 2011 6:35 pm

Lately ive been trying to convince my friends to get multicam, My reasons are,
1. It blends in with alot of enviroments, Not as good as other camo's, but its almost like a MULTI-purpose camo.
2. It looks stylish, Since Airsoft is 95% effective.
3. Its new. It catches peoples eye.
My friend, Who is a total Know it all, And smart a$$. Says that he could get his ACU and get some dirt and grass stains and they would be the same. But im convincing my friends to buy some so not only when we to OP's we look good as a group, But because they look cool and work really well in multiple enviroments. How many camo's do that? ACU's Look Okay, But dont work well.(Not in oregon) M81 woodland works good but doesnt look that great. Marpat and ATAC's are the only other options

Anyways, Id like to ask you, The reader, What would you say to your friends to convince them to buy multicam?

Have you asked the group of friends about what they think you guys should wear for a uniformed look? You'll have a hard time trying to force a bunch of teenage boys to see it your way. Ask them what they would like and then form a comprimise. Everybody wins :)

Thats a good idea. But as our little group a majority of us have multicam. So why not? I invested in it for the looks, How efficiently it works. And because i like it.

Get multicam for effectiveness, not style.

"If you want a uniform pattern that everyone would be happy with, get M81 Woodland. If it's not "tacticool" enough, RAID modify it."

I think you guys should get some Pencott. So much better, and more effective in the Portland area.

Not quite, Flectarn, Flora, and Tiger Stripe are all very effective and stylish in the Pac NW.

OR:

If it were me, I'd try to introduce alternative options such as running with German flecktarn with FCHP and RAID mods to the uniforms. Think of how cool that would be to run with not-so-common uniforms that are completely modified to a sort of SOF look. You would have great looks as well as fantastic uniforms that would blend in fairly well for the Pac NW. Think about it.

Thats my point. As we both know, Multicam looks good. But it works pretty damn well. IM sure you know, But Austynn W. is the one im stuck on. He says that ACU is perfect for where we airsoft. For the fact he's never been to an event and only at the pit. The pit is not the place for ACU. Bottom line. Multicams are great because you have natural colors(green and brown) And you have your urbans ( tan and white) But note, He said "I could take my ACU's and rub grass and dirt on them and blend in just as well."

It's not just the Pattern that helps you blend into the environment but knowing how to use said pattern , you can have a pattern that works great but if you run around like an elephant in heat it doesn't work.

It's three guys in ACU about to get ambushed by a brigade of guys in MultiCam.
