I know taking out the ability to put 'Nark +3' is a little extreme but it could be helpful if you forced everyone to sign up with a callsign. Otherwise we will never know if someone's '+1' turns up as someone else's +1. Know what I mean?

He knows who the +1's were, at least most, To put +1 you had to give their names (real or callsign). If said person didn't turn in a waiver, he is done.

I honestly believe you guys are taking this a little too seriously for what it is... I understand people not showing up is a big deal, but to BAN them from games? That's just ridiculous, imagine if one of your buddies, or a well known AP member missed out.

"Well *Insert AP event regular attendee name here* , you can never come to a game again because you missed this one! See ya forever!"

How about a "3 strikes you're out" system or something?

A well known AP member would have the decency to post that he not going to make it. These new kids need to learn to be accountable for their actions.

there is already a list of no shows from the horde as a warning and riddick already announced that there was going to be a ban on the next event.

I have a two strike policy.

1st time it's a warning

2nd time you are not allowed to rsvp.

I don't ban anyone but if you are going to prove yourself a flake, then we will just move past you on the planning stuff and you might possibly miss out if the rosters are full. I also hope that other hosts follow suit.

The biggest thing here is being posted on a wall of shame (so to speak)

host a game sometime, plan for weeks, have your commanders depend on your player count, than try sit there doing the check in and feel like a fool because people are not responsible enough to notify someone they cant make it. It is a bigger issue than you know, and personally if you cant be accountable for something as simple as showing up after saying you are, than I dont want you on the field.

Craig, not only do you lie about your age on the forums(CRAIG JUST TURNED 14.), all of the minors that airsoft in Oregon City besides your little middle school skinny jeans wearing wanna be clan, are friend with me. If you want to tell me off or get in my face, you know where my place is. McNair just yelled at me for what he called "bitching on the Internet". You just did the same thing. If you have a problem with me, let me know.

Sounds like a great idea for a sticky thread under the PacNW events forum. Game hosts can keep a running tally of all the flakes and no shows.

And BTW I don't think there is one responsible AP player that doesn't know at least one other person that they could contact in some manner to pass along that they will not be attending as planned, if they can't get to a PC to do it themselves, within 24 hrs of game time.

Of course there will always be emergencies, occasionally, <24 hrs but again I am sure that person knows someone they could have pass along a message with apologies rather than nothing at all.

This would also help with *shock* getting games started on time, so the host isn't waiting around for a whole bunch of people that might show up that never will. I imagine that the reason Rick keeps reg open longer is because he sees 20-30% no show on his list and gives those folks the benefit of the doubt that they might show up because it's to everyone's benefit to have as many show for the game scenario as possible.

Bottom line: don't flake - tell someone you know or Rick that you won't be there. When you don't do that on a job you get fired and jobs aren't nearly as much fun as running around the woods shooting your friends and bs'ing.

AirsoftGator, all you are doing is giving the community even more bad example towards younger players. If you truly want games to stay open to younger players you should lead them in example instead of personally insulting people on the forums over stupid things. Stop acting like a 12 year old and be the mature one.

And honestly, if you want to avoid radio spam mcluvin, just get a damn HAM license. Ya, its a bit of effort, but its well worth it in the end for a lot of different reasons.

Otherwise if people just happen to be on the same channel as you and want to get their anus's bleached on hamburger hill, your just gonna have to put up with it.

I prefer to phony pony at all times. I use the internet as a place to scream so I don't do it during class.

Also, as much as I hate not having paypal (and making prepay a pain), I would like some way to make sure you know who is coming.

Prepay: $15
Day of player: $30

Make it a big enough deal that they don't prepay within 5 days of the game that they have to pay an extra fee to do so.
