You can throw them in a bottle of water and see if they swell up, but it will take a while. Like weeks or months I have heard.

BBs are really cheap. Why not use them for target practice and buy some Bios?

Always keep them in the same bag until they are all gone.

We go by the manufacturers bags.

Too many bb's look the same nowadays to tell any difference.

Usually non bio has a glossy shine( most of the time) and bio bb's tend to have a dull and almost powdery look to them. Non bio bb's also taste better than bio bb's( I've been shot in the mouth by both while yelling). ;)

Take a lighter to the suspected bb's. If they melt, BOOM! plastic. If not, then I don't know what it is.

The stuff I sell is essentially bio plastic (like the lids burgerville uses for example) those bb's melt as well.

Ingredients:

80% PLA
20% CaCO3

This is all but true Plastic BB's to have a shine. Bio's look dull in color. Bio's also chip if you shoot a solid object like a wall.

all bbs will shatter is you shoot hard enough. you can't tell the difference , different manufacturers have a different finishing looks which makes it too hard to tell.

for example when i put riddick's bio bbs next to the airsplat non bio ones they look the same. but when i put airsplat bb's next to some bio bb's made by cybergun the cyber one's look dull because the bb's cybergun makes are not polished.

non bio plastic are not digestible so you could try eating the bb's and see if they come out the other end (do this at your own risk though)

Goldenball. BB King, BioShot all shine as well and look like non-bio. Again it's hard to tell based on looks alone hence why you have to refer to the bag most of the time. Starch based bb's are the ones that look dull and generally have a darker color.

All this is based on what the manufacturer is using for it's ingredients

Sadly I have done this. :( Not proud of it I kinda swallowed one accidentally.

The BB's get lodged into your turd. You cant theorize if its going to be on the outside of the turd or deep inside. Unless you fish it out of the toilet, and dissect it. Which will be completely disgusting if you do.

Use a sledgehammer to crush them. Plastic will crack, Bio will crumble.
