Just a quick question for you guys in the know.....I'll wear one of my soft shells around town, and it may have a flag patch, name tape (Chachi on it) and my PSC patch. Never have I had a comment or even a look for that matter, but last weekend I got stared and glared at by a young guy with a buzz cut. I walked by, and he was staring at my coat, and I even heard him comment to the girl he was with about my "jacket and flag". He wasn't looking at me nicely either, and that was the first time where I second guessed what I was wearing. In no way would I ever claim to be something I am not, nor would I wear anything I thought might be questionable. As I said, I had a OD soft shell, an OD flag patch on the sleeve (proper direction too), a MARPAT name tape with Chachi on it, and a pink (yes, pink) PSC patch. Nothing wrong, right? Maybe seeing this thread has made me second guess myself. Any thoughts?

well, he probably just came from TRADOC and might have been a complete idiot.
as long as your flag is in the correct direction, you dont have a service tape you dont need and such, people can get over themselves.

Don't second guess yourself. There was nothing wrong with your jacket. He was probably just trying to impress his lady friend. His daddy may not have told him he was good enough or given him enough hugs and it has damaged his sense of self worth.
