Saturday will be the first portion of a 4-day leadership training plan. It's still in the works and will be a separate thread, but the weekend should go like this:

Saturday:
1000-1400: Leadership training (whiteboard training) with optional skirmishing
1400-1500: Break for Chow and to load gear for weapons and tactics training
    1500-1600: Block of Instruction: Individual*
1600-EOD: Skirmishing to reinforce Individual training
Camping
1900-2000: McNair is sober, and we bake beans and drink field tea
2100-2130: Special Guest Steven Seagal swears us in as ICE employees
2300-taps: McNair and Catch22 wrestle over last of the whiskey

Sunday
1000-EOD: Phoenix has Skirmishing with optional build-day portion for Camp R&R

We'll get more of it after Bitter Water this weekend.

No build day stuff actually.

The skirmishing will focus on reinforcing the topics covered in the leadership training as well as reinforcing other training goals (buddy team, fire team and squad movement and cohesion).

Bring rain gear that you can wear over your cool new OD, because it is probably going to rain, and if it doesn't rain on us, everything will be wet, so you are going to want rain gear.

One of the secondary events that will be going on is that my PolarStar will be available for people to play with (and I'll finally have a chance to tune the settings properly, hopefully for 40rps+).

Stubby has an air compressor and if the connectors match we'll have unlimited air for it otherwise it will just be a dollar so I can fill the scuba tanks after the event.

Fantastic.

For the classroom instruction everyone should remember to bring a notepad and pen (or pencil) for notes. Also remember to wear something warm, since it will be outside under the covered area (or possibly even moving around to illustrate things).

Make sure you have your rain gear and a change of clothes for Sunday, and another for the drive home!

Also, it is $5 for one, or BOTH days, so stay and camp! ;)

If you are camping, don't forget to bring a towel so you can take advantage of the nice hot showers!

Hell no, I want both the showers to myself...but I figured if more people knew about and took advantage of the showers we might see more people camping. I was half contemplating saying nothing so I could once again hog all the hot water. :)
