I wouldn't be hurt if it was put on hold because of timing, but I love the idea.

If it is, I hope you guys can confirm/deny before I get the day off.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind doing it in worse weather. I have always been good at enjoying something specifically because other people were hating it (i.e., getting smoked in basic, PT, ruck/hike, etc). I guess I'm twisted in that way.

Yea, you're not hardcore unless you like to play in the rain. 'Cause that's what makes hardcore players. You like playing in the rain Nasty? Are you hardcore?

Love it, but yea you're right, I might be a north westerner and grown up fishing in the early morning in the mountains in a down pour, but dang, do I want to play in the rain? Not for a neighborhood skirm, but an event like this would be just fine.

Yes, but how cold is the water? There are pictures of the Dunedain Rangers underwater at Mjat, and that is some really cold water!

I am only hardcore enough to go in to my knees.

Nevermind, have to drop (unless the date changes), traveling plans for the Thanksgiving holiday make it difficult to guarantee attendance, and I don't think is an event for "Maybe".

Looks like some of you guys got your wish. We've got to postpone this event for a few weeks because of a family emergency back east. I might end up being in West Virginia at the time of this event so rather than keep fighting an uphill battle, we will go ahead and postpone this and hopefully reschedule it for a date that more of you guys can make it.
