Sounds kick a$$. Depending on the equipment list, I might be interested. My only concern is, while I have a regular Osprey pack - I don't have any "military style" ruck or pack. I'm assuming that'll be a requirement, as you probably don't want people running with bright Orange backpacking gear - kinda kills the sim aspect.

Matt: You are not required to run a military ruck. (although this is a mil-sim oriented event....it is the first run and will allow participants to use a subdued colored (perferably) civilian pack)

League: You may run if you so choose. You will need to provide your own gear....and uphill and down. Nothing that'll kill you...but it's in the mountains

Nasty: Yes, we'll do our best, but...there are no guarantees. This is about working with people...and making things happen.

And, the gear list will be up later today. I just need to type is all out. At this time, the items, if you camp/backpack/go out in the woods/airsoft overnight....then you should have them...or can borrow them from someone you know.

That is to be determined. We've already established the criteria for the missions.

These will be sneak and peek/extraction and kill team exercises.

Any mission specific equipment will be provided. Otherwise...be prepared to get your sneak...and kill on.

Just a note, there is no place on site to fill water sources. So required is a minimum not a maximum. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Am I reading this correctly that there are two separate missions? Is there respawn between missions or is it one kill you're humping back to the cars?

Two different missions.

You will have a causualty card if you are shot during a mission this card will be pulled by the designated medic, they will perform "aid" and you will be back in the mix. If you are shot a second time...you will be "dead".

Each mission will provide a new casualty card.

At completion of the mission...or simulated KIA, you will move to an admin vehicle...and be transported to the second mission step-off point/end event vehicle area.

To add:

If at any time does a participant opt out of any aspect of the event (ruck march or missions) they will not be allowed to participate in the rest of the event.

IE: Accepting help or aid (other than simulated medical) by another participant...or administrative staff member. (checkpoint drinks..food..etc) will be a voluntary "opt out" of the selection process. The participant will be allowed to stay in place until an admin vehicle can move them out of the event area, to their vehicle, and out of the AO.

That would be accepting aid, by sharing individual supplies.

This would result in both participants "opting out".

This is about taking mil-sim to the next level. We only want the people to participate who want to be there, and are willing to agree to participate by the rules, and accept the consequences of not following the rules.

Many games in the past have had "wishy washy" rules.....F' that! Let's start taking this game to a more mission driven level.

The magazines are to be loaded to real capacity. (live weapon capacity) If you feel comfortable with 80 rounds...to complete a mission...stellar...if not...maybe invest in a few more mags!

Ammo load in mags will be the only useable ammo while in mission.
