New ACUs with buttons issued

Postby Darius137 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 6:54 am

Where do I buy sets of the new ACUs? I'm tired of this craggedy velcro garbage.

Haha all my ACU's have buttons instead of the shitty a$$ velcro.

Edit:
And yes these are issue now. When I started OSUT, all my ACU's had velcro, but when we went in to exchange them out, all the ACU's they gave me had buttons.

Dan,

They're not selling them at clothing and sales yet. I have seen a few sets, but they came through KYLOC.

It's only the OCP deployment-issue ACUs that have them as far as I know. Mine have em. The blouse still has the velcro, though. Velcro errywhere.

Thank you sir.

Also, I might be moving to the 161 IN to get in on this upcoming WARNO: Somewhere action.

Yeah the buttons are only on the cargo pockets. But if you have the know how or know someone that can, you can sew buttons wherever you want them. I did that for the shoulder pockets and the lower pockets on the trousers.

There is more to the new ACUs than two buttons here or there. There is a change to the collar and pen pocket and the Army is going to be very anal about what they see. I'd probably shazaam it up.
