Just last week at my school( Oregon City High School), there was also a freshman who brought an airsoft gun to school. Some more responsible kids tipped off the faculty which was a good thing to do in my opinion. Why would someone decide to bring a replica to school? Do they want to become infamous and attract bad attention? People that do this need to get their sh*t straight.
I know that the 18 + crowd on AP has every right to hate on minors for doing dumb things with airsoft guns( bringing them to school, flashing them in public), but minors that commit these acts of total stupidity make the responsible minors look bad. Not only does it make minors that airsoft look bad, it gives more evidence for things such as SB798 to be passed. That ruins airsoft for everyone.
Little do these people know, coming to school with a replica ruins the sport by backing up anti-airsoft governments, or groups. This is obviously due to them not thinking it through because they are stupid(an average or below average teenager).
When people have posts on AP asking if an airsoft club at school is a good idea, they get 90% + people opposing it. Soon after, that person replies to who they elect to call "haters", which are really people stating their honest opinion. They only want to look at the bright side instead of thinking at least a few steps ahead towards any possible bad outcome. These minors that do this are the ones that are the irresponsible, and non-respected AP members.(No names stated).
I think I have made my point about how this complete B.S with airsoft and school seriously pisses me off, along with a majority of other AP members that actually care about the sport. Post concluded and that's my 2 cents.
