Hint regarding the armor carrier:

1. It is concealable, holds both hard and soft armor and the acronym for this carrier (not the brand of the carrier but the carrier model or name) starts with a "C"

2. This under-carrier model was changed to a newer version but functions the same way but is slightly different and has a few extra features that the new models don't have

No..neither of those two are correct.
Correct on the similarity/thinner material with the PACA but not a PACA and not that brand, either.

Oh..also forgot to mention they are both name brand, of course, not air-soft brand. That will eliminate a lot of guesses and should help some.

CBAC was the hard one. Google yielded one reference from airsoft forum about a chest rig that worked with Eagle CBAC or LVAC. Eagle website yielded no result for CBAC, but I still went with it.

If and when you want to do an order to get something modified..just let me know. At the moment, I have to finish up some orders that I'm a little behind on...probably be stuck with the current orders another week or so and then I'll be ready to take on new orders/requests.

It's fantastic ...I wear it a lot. Mostly for woodland events, of course, since it's a chest rig. It really does work for what it was intended to be used for. I really like it for when you have to walk and hike around a lot in the woods during an event..etc.

The cool thing about S.O. Tech items is that their coyote color is really a coyote tan color and can be worn with the lighter tan based colors..such as MJK..etc just fine. As you can see in the photos, it appears to blend in well with the MJK and tan based pouches that I put on it. Not bad at all ..

I've always liked S.O. Tech gear.

One of the current projects for Mike ("Ash") (his pants aren't done yet...should be done soon). Mike requested a FCHP conversion with replica combat pads and a FCHS/combat shirt conversion with more of a green base to the uniform to match it up better to his environment in the Pacific Northwest...so we went with the new base shirts I've been using that have a darker beige/smoke green mix of coloration on them. I will continue to use these beige/green base shirts for those who are requesting a more green based coloration added to their multicam shirts since they work so well and the material is not a hassle to work with. I'll use other base shirts for a tan based multicam combat shirt..etc.

The latest Propper multicam field shirt converted to an FCHS/combat shirt using a beige/OD green/ clay colored base-layer shirt for the torso section. The neat thing about these new base-shirts I'm using for the torso sections on my combat shirts is that the coloring is very close to smoke green or ranger green..even though they are advertised as beige...funny.. Anyway..the photo appears to make it OD green but it's actually closer to a smoke green or ranger green color in person.



* I'll be honest...I really like the latest uniforms from Propper...solid material..easy to sew and works well when I have to cut the material and sew it to another type of material such as base-layer stretch or loose-fit shirts for combat conversions

Modified and integrated collar (zipper was already in-place on the base-layer shirt but I did have to modify the collar a little to blend it into the base shirt. Also had to make a zipper stop...





Base shirt extending into the arm pits...personally, I think it's better to have smaller arm pit extensions instead of the large ones you see on the name brand shirts...some of the arm pit fabric extends way too much into each of the shirt sleeves I see out there

I've improved the FCHP conversions and for people that want velcro adjustment straps added to their pants will now have two of them put on with velcro loop runing from one strap to the other, behind each knee. Please keep in mind that these velcro adjustments straps are on the pants for side to side adjustment for centering your knee pads over your knees and for just enough tension adjustment to keep the pads from shifting too much. Don't attach each strap too tight because the velcro loop on the back of each knee will constrict your leg and it won't be comfortable..etc.

Some pants are baggier than others and really need dual adjustment velcro straps and some pants like the more streamlined ones don't need straps at all. It just depends on what type of pants you have. Sometimes the adjustment straps are not put on because the pants don't need after testing the pants after the conversion is completed.

Propper multicam pants with calf pocket relocation to front of legs, above knee pads and cargo pocket flap cut-outs done to allow upper leg pockets to open...these photos are shown with my own set of Crye AirFlex pads..other photos posted further down show the pants with some replica combat pads that were ordered for "Ash":

With customers replica combat pads (clay/tan colored pads). These pads work very well....they have a thicker diameter padding, are slightly wider and longer and tend to stay very secure even without velcro straps:

This was part of a larger order from Ireland.

I started my newer version of the FCHP conversion for those of you who send me your 10-pocket Propper A-TACS and multicam..etc or any other pant that has calf pockets on them and where the side cargo pockets are very large and cover part of the front of each leg. Cargo pocket flap corner cut-outs to make room for the calf pocket - to upper - leg relocation. Also double velcro knee/leg straps for adjusting and centering your knee pads.

A new DCU FCHP order with the new changes.
The inner velcro adjustment straps can be made in the same material as your pants but you'll need to either send me some extra matching material or allow me to take some material away from your cargo pocket material in order for me to have everything match if you are picky about everything being one color and want the straps to be the same size and shape as each other. The inner straps are not really visible when the pants are in use..so if no material is sent to me..I will always use the leftover material from the knee hole cut-outs for the outside velcro adjustment straps since those are very visible.

I'll have more photos up of the pants on me to show what they look like with the added inner straps.

A repair "fix" job plus other minor mods done for "hellkills" here on this site.

DCU uniform with modifications done by the owner...then uniform was sent to me to go over it and fix whatever needed fixing. The owner had some great mods but they just needed to be refined and made better...some things had to be added by me and some areas needed more attention than others..

Shirt
- uninstall owners elbow pad pockets, make new Crye templated pockets, fold over edges, modify them to fit and attach them
- repair Mandarin collar closure, front and back and rebuild flap
- add DCU material to arm pit seams
- reinforce arm pit repair patch under left arm that was put on by owner
- reinforce neck zipper stitching and build heavy duty zipper stop


Pants
- Un-stitch knee pad pockets, modify them, align them to knee caps and re-attach them
- Un-stitch both front upper cargo pockets, bellow the pockets, center them and re-attach them
- Modify zipper stitching, add better zipper stop, sew pant material to zipper backing, strengthen zipper area to pant material and re-position velcro closure at ziper location
- Un-stitch mid-leg adjustment straps and rebuild them, re-attach them at correct location per horizontal alignment with knee pad pockets
- Un-stitch lower leg adjustment straps, rebuild them and re-attach at base of each leg..also re-attach loop velcro at base of each leg area
- Re-build each velcro hook and loop closure per each leg, strengthen stitching, add velcro hook and loop at ends of pant legs to allow for extension/lengthening of each pant leg to make pants longer for better fitment
- Hem each pant leg and reinforce stitching at hems
- Modify right rear pocket and repair pocket, add DCU material over pocket edge, pull up pocket on right side and re-sew it to hold pocket in place, re-sew accessory loop at pocket



















Uninstall DCU back-side elastic waist band cover, modify it and reinstall


Uninstall front leg pockets, bellow pockets and reinstall with reinforced stitching...take off owners knee pad pockets and replace with Crye templated knee pad pockets


Improve right rear slanted pocket, reinforce/cover edges with DCU material...reattach utility loop...pull in extra material to side seam to hide excess pant material...reattach belt loops


Uninstall velcro closure systems at ankles and knees, fold over edges, modify tabs and re-locate hook velcro and loop velcro






Repair both side leg velcro hook and loop openings, fold over edges and restitch, reinforce stitching, repair seam line, re-locate velcro tabs and velcro loop

Rebuild collar closure, reinforce stitching, build zipper stop, reinforce stitching at patch repair in arm pit, create Crye templated combat elbow pad pockets, fold over edges and install on arms in correct alignment with elbow and arm shins








Arm pit reinforcement...added DCU strips to seam lines of arm pits

PMB belt project for a recent customer (10/28/11)

Customer needed a larger, wider and longer belt due to his waist size not being offered at retailers. I added a 14 1/2″ padded MOLLE panel to this medium size khaki colored 32″ PMB belt. I also added khaki/tan nylon MOLLE webbing over the khaki Cordura extension panel on the back and then reinforced the stitching and suspender retainers. The customer also requested a drop-rig opening be made for using drop-holsters..etc.
