Elderly parents needing assistance early this AM force me to bow out at the last minute. Sorry Rick...see all at the next one!

Great event Rick!! I will be taking a hiatus from airsoft for a while...while our entire airsoft team (which is actually the Oregon State University Solar Vehicle Team) makes our 2012 solar car, the Phoenix! We'll be back Fall of 2012! You're the man dude!

Riddick, I had a blast. The game was everything I was looking for and then some. Even better, I was given another chance to hang out with APST...though I didn't do so well this game personally. Felt outclassed by a lot of people and a lack of replacement batteries (anywhere but in my car) left me feeling a smidgen nervous.

Still, there were tons of fun people, some even helping me out with organizing my gear better. Because of this game, I'll be cramming into my shopping list a new tightbore barrel for my M16, MARPAT gear (I'll be converting my loadout soon), a fancy new Army tag, an AK mag and tons of fun in between.

Thanks again Riddick, I walked away a little tired and bruised, but I was smiling. A great game managed by a great guy.

P.S.

PacMan, thanks for showing me the fun that can be had with an M.R.E.. I'd always been wary of buying them, as I didn't know how to prepare them, or how much I'd actually be preparing. Glad to have had a helping hand with that and in the field in general.

Had a great time, especially in the night game and Chilling with Mithril during the break. I think a lot of the younger players need some hands-on lessons about safety kills, though. Kids in the night game were running around like it was Modern Warfare 2 safety killing anyone they got within 30 feet of and whining about getting shot at while they were trying to roll up on you.

Also, while using the far side of the field, I think people need to be better briefed on where the field boundaries are. I got killed at Cocoa field #1 TWICE from out of bounds and called in admins to confirm that the area they were coming from (the blackberry patch behind the barn) was, indeed, out of play. I thought the red flags at the field border were a sufficient sign, but I guess other people didn't see it that way.

Outstanding, even if I was only there for the night game.
I loved playing in the afternoon with some really cool dudes, you know who you are! I wish the lights were on in the village like they were for Res. III, but it was still cool.

Thanks to Rick for setting this up, the Admins for doing what they do. This was fun!
