Operation Lion Claws/ OKI 2012, anyone?

Postby Night_Stocker » Fri Sep 16, 2011 8:07 am

I know I don't even have one star yet (much less, been a member for a month) but I'm wondering how many people are willing to go to this coming year's OLC XI or OKI VII? I'd REALLY like to go there with a team, but I cannot make any guarantees I CAN go until I figure out the dates.

to sum up: I'm putting my feelers out now for units to hook up with for OLC/ OKI and beginning discussions now, so I don't crunch up so bad two weeks before it happens.

feel free to berate me if I'm being to forward.
If $400,000 a year is low-class, I'm totally f***ed.

I'd like to attend the Oklahoma Invasion this year. There's about 6-7 guys from APST interested in going, we're working out logistics.

Well no guarantees but, I'm probably going to Lion Claws this year in SoCal. Hopefully I can make it to R66 next year :?

EDIT: I'd be willing to go to OKI if enough people are also willing to go.

SOTA is attending OP Lion Claws: Route 66 next month, paid and confirmed, and we have a couple national events in the hopper to decide on. Would love to do and Irene or OKI.

I thought R66 was a one time event, I might be wrong though. It would be nice if someone would set up a travel group on AP to a OLCMSS game. I wouldn't be surprised if the total fee was 10 times what we usually pay for up here, lion claw games are a once-in-a-lifetime thing for most airsofters.

Honestly I was more impressed with Oklahoma Invasion. Claymore and Frosty gave me a DVD at last year's Shot Show, looks like a really impressive event for the low price tag.

R66 is an OLCMSS event in Barstow, CA Oct 14-16 at an abandoned water park. However it is a one time event because the property recently was sold to become a solar farm. Riddick is also attending with us and 7 of us are going all together. If anyone is interested here's the link to join but today may be the last day. And it's $165 to attend.

Check out their forums for the latest. (Check out the pyro effects for example, should be awesome)

Agreed about higher price, but they bring in so many aspects to the game that make it a true experience rather than just a shoot-em up event with anfew objectives, viz. pyro for simulated IED's and RPG explosions.
