Hey I had a good time playing the executioner - apologize to my teammates for lighting them up
Being in the role I was I got to observe a lot of stuff and I must say I was impressed and shocked at a few things.
Well done to the Green team for a such a blitz to rescue the first few hostages, then again kudos to Brown for repelling the blitz and realizing that Bishop was your priority and guarding him. Warchild was an excellent commander - I got to see a lot of communication with the Brown command and although outnumbered - were strategically sound. APST & Highlife did an awesome job infiltrating the execution room to rescue Bishop.
Stress has a funny way of effecting people & their shots. On more than one occasion I saw people missing from close range. I had a pistol drawn at me when I was holding Bishop threatening him with a knife. The first four shots missed and on the second volley I was struck three times in my left arm. I have no reason to sluff off any shots as a non-partisan actor. As a firearms instructor, I can say it was probably stress/slapping the trigger that was making the shots go wide from close distance. Another instance - I was dead, on the ground, rag on head & enjoying the beautiful sky. There was a Green guy hiding in the execution room, a Brown came around the corner and from about 10 ft. they engaged each other with AEGs (safety violation) - but here's the thing - both missed!! I heard & saw the burst hit the wall as Brown took cover. One player swore up & down one hit the other - I was completely uninvolved and can honestly say I don't believe a single shot hit.
Just makes me think all the times I got upset thinking I hit someone, when in actuality, I probably didn't hit the person because I messed up my firearms fundamentals. The point - keep your cool & remember good fundamentals. This isn't a criticism - my observation and if anything I'm criticizing myself and my attitude in the past. Anyway, just some friendly food for thought.
At no point during the day did I hear of any poor sportsmanship - THANK YOU ALL for the outstanding gameplay. I look forward to playing more games with people like all of you.
Cheers!
