The Russian Navy can use whatever AEG platform they prefer as long as it shoots within the FPS limits.

SOTA does encourage everyone to get into the role of the side they choose to enhance game experience for everyone. So if you choose to be on the Russian Navy side it would be cool to see you roll out with Russian weapon platforms and gear, but it is in no way required.
