Great game Rick.

Thanks for letting SOTA run as your primary admins for the game, we had a blast will do again for you any time.

It was nice to see everyone again. tool, Kev, Robb, Carrie, Ogre Trever, Limpy to name a few sorry if I missed anyone, it has been too long and I hope to see you all on the field soon.

Must've been a mistake, seeing as we did fairly well. Dunno how those bloody survivors survived like they did. ;) Also, at least I showed up. :P

Great game, little awkward for me since I knew barely anyone, but cheers for a fun time. Good to actually meet people this time around.

Game wise, wasn't even that hot. Back in Texas that would've been considered a cold day, whiners. ;) Simple enough concepts, good field, good admins. Smoke grenades added a cool touch, might hafta pick up a couple for myself. IIRC, we only had one serious heat casualty, and I wish that guy well. The water truck runs were definitely a good idea, too.

Also, Pacman, what brand cheddar brat was that? Fookin' delicious...

Survivors gonna survive.

Props to you for holding your own. Although I'm somewhat curious why you guys decided to leave the key unguarded, as we basically spent 3.5 hours of the 4 hour game with the key and trying to get into the water station.

Good game, all. It was unseasonably warm, but folks didn't let that slow them down (or they at least took the appropriate actions).

Pacman, you're just jealous of my hat.

There was absolutely zero occurrences of hacking from what I saw; no one on military complained openly about it, and everyone I shot called it honourably. You must've been a bad shot, because, when Snowman and I went for pizza after the game, all the admins that were there had no accounts of players hacking. It was a good game, though at times we were lazy. When I get home I'll have a full AAR.

Almost all of the hacking i experienced was during the night game (saturday). I heard and saw people on both sides firing full auto and also was shined by a green lazer on the military side. No big deal of course, i just wish people would pay more attention to the briefing and the admins instruction.

I personally told the entire military group no green lasers. We will not allow those to even be fixed on the guns on the next one.

full auto was another no go we discussed but its so hard to see who is doing it.

No matter how hard you try, night games usually end up in a clusterf***

I will updated the information about the conclusion of the game a little later. still recovering.

Great game riddick. I'm a little upset about what happened to whitey, but despite that, the game was fun. (After the heat of this game, I'm looking forward to a winter game.)

I hope whitey is feeling better too however I am upset with you that you left your campsite in a foul disguisting disarray with trash all over the place and not even in a bag. Fortunately for you I didn't get a picture taken of it and posted on AP (which I went to get my camera to do). It was that bad that everyone should have seen it. It upset everyone who saw it there. Luckily one of your friends cleaned it up for you before I could snap the photo. His dad even said that you were told of the mess while they were cleaning up their site.

I am currently debating over banning you for a year from my games and I know a few hosts would follow suit as well.

My entire weekend summary (Res. IV & FW):

I am beat! Wow, in true weekend warrior form, I am sitting here at my desk wishing I was at home getting more rest and relaxing. Anyways, I had a great time Rick, thank you for the games as always. For a fun, themed event that wasn’t too serious, this one was perfect! Granted, it wasn’t a heavy mil-sim game, but that was fine and everyone knew that up front. The design of the games was to have fun, and that was easily accomplished.

One thing I noticed that stood out to me was the lack of hacking on the weekend, and I loved that! Sportsmanship was great from everyone, and because of that, the event is so much more of a success. I had heard about some, but it seemed really minor. The only issue I saw was a fellow survivor started barking at the guy who shot him and he started charging across the field to go tell him what he thought about it. As I saw it happening, an admin was right where I was and I just directed him to the ruckus and he took care of it. Admins were great on the weekend too. Easy to talk to and get the needed answers to what questions we had, and they are always around when you needed them. Thank you Admins, you all did great!

I loved sneaking around on the freeway side of the field from our (Survivors) spawn on Saturday to steal the key. It was MTF141 and Ogre and I from PSC teamed up for an important objective to take care early on in the game. We made it from our spawn to the backside of Hobo Camp to steal the key, and all the way back…….with virtually no contact! Talk about sneaky bastards!!!! Good job guys!

*The only issue I had was that I was accused of spawn camping yesterday during Faction Wars. I was on the green team, and I had worked my way all the way from my spawn, sneakily up Indian School Rd toward the castle, and found a perfect tree to hide under that was about 200 yards off the front door of the castle. My target window was angled toward the speedball course, right where the first sector point was near the castle. Any player that I shot was within 10 feet of the sector point, and about 150 yards out of the castle. In no way did I ever shoot someone near the front door of the castle, and I would never do such a thing. I am sorry that whoever told the admin that I was spawn camping, felt that I was doing something wrong. That was never my intention, and if I really wanted to do what I was being accused of, I could have easily done it with the lack of security that you had on that entire side of the field. But I made sure to give a lot of distance for you to be away from your base, and I always followed the rule of “Don’t shoot into or don’t shoot out of your base/spawn point”, and in no way was I trying to cheat or hack. I felt Timmah the admin and friend of mine did his job to honor the complaint of the player and he asked me to move back 20 feet I did as he asked, although I was frustrated with the call, and felt it was just players upset they got shot by someone in a good position. Hell, where I was hiding, if you came out the backside of the castle, you easily could have taken my flank, as I was solo, and really just facing one direction. But hey, telling an admin had the same effect I suppose. No harm, and I just wanted to clarify that I wasn’t trying to do anything shady, and I am sorry if it was interpreted that way. I’m sorry, and I will be more cautious next time.

Thank you for reading….if you made it this far!

I had fun overall, but Saturday it near the end it was nearly impossible to tell who was on what team with the military taking their tops off. The blue band wasn't bright enough to see the small amount there was.

Overall, had fun.
