Please remove me from the roster for Saturday. I'm still tentatively in for Faction Wars and I'll post in that thread.

Questions About CQB

Postby Топотун » Thu Aug 11, 2011 12:06 am

Hello,

I have a question about CQB qualified AEGs. Since many of us carry AEGs which shoot slower than 330fps, which, in fact, is slower than many pistols, if your AEG chronos at under 330fps, do we still have to envoke the safety kill? Also, may we use them in buildings if we use them on semi-auto or only two or three shot bursts? And, if not, why not? Thanks.
Pacifism is a luxury paid for by warriors.

Yes, you have to follow the safety kill rules. These rules have been used for over 10+ years in this community and have become the standard for which most of us make mandatory at our games. It's all about safety for you and for the other player. To add, even if I wanted to say it's your call, I would be in violation of the AP ruleset and thus could have my event removed from website. It's kind of been hidden rule for those that don't know, that if you are promoting your games on this website, then you must adobt AP's rules into your rule book for games you host. I agree with the rules so I follow them.

Weapons are "good to go" in all the buildings, irregardless of FPS or ROF with the exception of the night game. During the night game you must only shoot on semi during the night game portion of the event. In the day time, it's however you decide.

-Rosters Updated-

BTW I have updated the capacity of teams (*even though I said I wouldn't) however this will be the only time. So if you want to get in on the action then sign up. Don't wait to ask me after all the teams are full if you can go, I won't make a exception.

Also when registering make sure to state if you are only coming to the saturday game or are you coming for both the saturday and sunday games (there is a price difference *see main game thread)

Got some cool stuff planned. Some carried over from the last game and some new things as well.

Some have asked about private forums. Simply put, I asked but I never got them and honestly there will be plenty of time to prep you whats going on to start the game and you will learn more as you progress. You have to remember to keep in the mindset that we are playing out a story line and the storyline says the survivors seeking refuge in a deserted town with the military close behind. Nobody has any intel on the place or layouts or the whereabouts where things are. So we need to preserve this aspect and both sides will follow the courses of "learning" I have planned out for them.

If you are also going to attend Faction Wars, thats a competitive points based game (with a little bit of storyline) that features sector control and scavenging for items that are also worth points. It will be carnage and fast and fun.

*Also I want to point this out from the rule book

If you are caught cheating, hacking, being a prick,
verbally abusing players, etc. You will be asked to leave without a refund. We want to create a safe & fun atmosphere for all participants of this event and we don't need the douchebaggery.

Myself and the admin staff will not tolerate any of the above mentioned items. There will be no gray area. We might give you a warning or may kick you out based on the severity. This is a game of honor, so be honorable. If you find yourself not being capable of the following the basics thing like the above mentioned then a new hobby should be chosen and please dont come to this event. Airsoft is all about honor and honesty among other things. We will have plenty of admin for this field (about 10 or more) and we will be watching. So let's go out there have a good time. I want you all to have a good time.

field maps will be provided at the field (game specific)

I decided to forgo private forums this time. Not enough participation goes on in them generally and I didnt want much pre-planning as it doesnt fit the storyline.

everyone is moving into a unknown area and such, so I wanted to mostly preserve that effect by limiting how much info I provide beforehand and not during gameplay.

However there will be info you receive at the field that I will be personally handing to everyone. So players will have their opportunity to be prepped

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will be raffling off 3 Javelin AEG's on Saturday and 1 AEG on Sunday among some other items on both days. Each player will receive 1 raffle ticket.

I also will be doing a private raffle for players that purchase ammo. I will be giving away a AEG from my personal inventory. 1 ticket per person for every bag purchased. That drawing will be held sunday before the game begins. If you are only attending saturday, please let me know and I will have you put your contact info on the ticket.
