Motor just died. Replacement?

So my JG HT motor just died (M93 if im not mistaken) and I need a replacement. Trouble is I can't find any in stock. Anybody know where to pick one up at or a comparable motor at a reasonable price?

Those are decently cheap so they should work. M93 seems to be out, but the M42 is still a nice motor.

I can sell you a wayyy better Hi Torque motor if you want. System Red top magnum with 500 semi auto rounds through it.

Good motors to look at are the ones from G&G and G&P, systema motors are good but nowadays are overpriced for what you get.

out of the three i would recommend a G&P motor if you can afford it.

Element and SHS motors are my favorite. They are some of the most powerfully motors out there.

I've heard only horror stories about the endbells on those things..

Anyone have a link to an SHS or Element in stock? Can't stand the sound of the G&P M120 in the gun :evil:

What's wrong with the JG's I linked, isn't that what you were looking for?...

Seahawk, no. G&G motors are terrible and G&P motors (M160 and above) are nice, but very expensive.

Minerva, I'd stay away from G&P M120's, ferrite magnets aren't that nice. Stick with an ACM neo magnet motor.

I had that JG blue in my M4. Didn't really like the speed it was putting out. That's why I liked the M93 because it sort of compromised between speed and torque. I know but the G&P is the only motor I have laying around, thus the whole looking for a new motor

No problem man. I've been trying to track one down for a couple weeks myself and just ordered one from there two days ago. the nice thing is they are in CA so shipping should be pretty quick.
Had you asked this same question last week I'd have had nothing for ya.

I also got that blue top motor but in short version and the stock TM motor that it replaced really outperformed it. I was not impressed at all. But I hear nothing but good things about the red top. I also noticed it shares some design characteristics with the Systema high torque. like the metal endcap with the ridges. Does that mean that its actually a systema made? I'm not saying that. But I wouldn't be horribly supprised.

No but it's a clone. The Systema's don't have the red coating over the aluminum which causes them to short out often :/

After ordering the M93 and shooting a few rounds again with the G&P M120 (laughing a bit at the 37 rps I was getting) the gun quit out on me again. 2 motors so soon? No coincidence. Look at the fuse, and its broken

Actually upon inspection, even connecting the two terminals of the fuse is not running the motor... I'm going to go ahead and say carbon build up on the trigger contacts. Anyone else agree?

getting a multimeter and checking the connections should help eliminate guessing, is this M120 motor from your M4 from the other post?

Yea but the reason it wasn't working on that was because the soldering point on one of my motor connections was bad. Motor works fine in the M4. Just not on here.. I was running a LiPo without a fet in this gun however. That's why I suspect carbon build up
