Propane voids KWA warranty!!??

Yes. I read warranties. But it explicitly says "(5) Damaged batteries or improper use of bullets (BBs), or non approved propellants (ie. Propane, Red Gas, 134a...etc.)"

What is this madness?

If it's such a big deal then just use Green Gas.

So in other words the warranty is utterly useless because it specifically says the use of green gas is acceptable when its actually a form of propane which is not approved? Thats pretty much false advertisement if you ask me.

They can't guarantee that you are adding silicone to your propane (and in fact, a lot of people don't). That way they don't have to pay to repair 60-75% of the warrenty repairs they get.

the average propane user will probably not regularly lube their gun, thus leading it to break down faster than if they were using green gas.


I'm going to have to disagree with that entirely...

I think most people who bother spending $150 on a GBB will bother to lube their gun once in awhile. Even people I know who know little or nothing about airsoft internals know you need to lube airsoft guns. Especially GBBs.

The warranty sounds like it's worded to give KWA the option to say they want to fix it for you free or not... Not that I've ever heard of KWA being harsh about not giving repairs. I have never once read a thread about someone being denied service over use of propane...
