CIRAS model?

Postby JoKeR1147 » Fri Jul 29, 2011 4:21 am

Hey, Joker here. Just wondering what kind of CIRAS ASGI used in this gear video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeT31pDUJzk

I know that its a maritime CIRAS but I cant figure out what brand it is. It doesnt look like the Eagle Industries one to me but I cant find the particular model anywhere, I seem to remember seeing a similar make on ebay a while back but I cant be sure. Anyways, Im sure that some of the more knowledgeable gear junkies here will be able to set me straight.

Damn your right its not a CIRAS. Upon closer inspection I realized that Velcro on the top isnt a quick release tab, darn it. That vest in the link isnt it either though, I mean maybe its the civilian version but its missing about 3 rows of molle and the heavy duty molle'd cummberbounds.

Yea I think you guys are right, I googled the Hugger and looked up some more images of it and it looks right. The one in nastys like just looked a bit naked I guess. On another note, would yall happen to know anything about this vest? Right now I have an EPC in RG which Im diggin but I want something in CB or Tan for my new desert loadout. How do these vests stack up against CIRAS's, right now the front runner for my new vest is the Eagle industries CIRAS btw.

The CIRAS is pretty bulky and I'd recommend a FLYYE Industries. It's much cheaper and built just about as tough. I had one for a while and loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was because I wanted something less bulky and heavy.

This. Or if you've got $400 laying around, get a BaE RBAV.
