Fake rubber kukri?

Postby Hamster » Fri Jul 08, 2011 2:54 am

I don't know why but being a fifteen year old child who sits around and browses airsoft guns, plays video games, etc. has nothing better to do. But, aside from that, Being the video game nerd I know and love, I was thinking: where the heck can i find a fake rubber kukri? I was thinking about getting one and strapping it to my shoulder (know the refrence?) and feel like a noob.
Also just tell me if I posted in the wrong area.

Looking for a price under 40 bucks, I'd rather get the kukri then some TM EBB Desert eagle.

I've looked around myself and haven't found anything. I'd LOVE one of these for general use and my haji kit.

A bud of mine made one out of cardboard and paper, then he covered it on electrical tape. It actually wasn't all that bad.

You can get a real one from Nepal for about $100 shipped. http://www.nepalesekhukuri.com/
I got one a couple years ago, it's a pretty awesome knife. I use it on a regular basis for camping.

KA-BAR makes a nice one for $45.
As for rubber, I'd cut a piece of really really thin plastic and cover it with spray foam. Sand that puppy down, cover it in something smooth and spraypaint. My 5 minutes on google (rubber kukri, training kukri) revealed nothing, and my time on blueguns.com was fun but not helpful. It looks as if custom would be the best way to go about this.

Use a mold-a-dildo thing. They're used for making a dildo out of your own hot dog, but they work really well for making rubber knives.

Since you want a kukri try to find a curved mold-a-dong
