Spring Super Game this year was over 1000 players.

There is a yearly big game, Oklahoma D-Day, that draws 4000+ players from all over the world.

There are several other scenario games/ big games that yearly draw 2000+ players. Russia is actually the new frontier for big games... they throw scenario games with real tanks and pyrotechnics. Mind you these are big games, not tournaments with hundreds of teams.

Paintball's growth plateaued but it is far from dead. Events keep getting bigger.

It's the same with airsoft there too. Want to play there at least once if I ever get to go to europe.

What do airsoft guns use to shoot each other with? BB's? Oh yea, this is why minors have such a bad rap on this community.

What do adults use to rob banks? Oh yeah bb' guns.

....Perri was identified and located in Springfield, Oregon, where he was arrested on July 9, 2009. A search of his motel room located a BB gun that resembled a pistol....

Yup. It was 3 against and 2 for earlier, while Jerry Hill and Holly Mitchel were undecided. Eventually Hill voted no and Mitchel voted yes.

Long day in Sacramento that was. I'm glad it's over for now.

Yep. Or sooner, unfortunately.

Even if it doesn't pass, they are trying to pass regulation so that us Californians can't transport or even possess them unless all are painted over with bright paint...including all currently owned air-soft rifles as well.

the regulations are only trying to be passed in the city of LA(as far as i know) they're not just requiring airsoft to be painted but also making it illegal to have painted guns or firearms made of composite materials, dont stop giving donations to airsoft safety foundation and dont forget to thank the NRA in supporting us. the earliest resubmitting of this bill is going to be in the fall. keep your eyes open and be prepared to fight something like this in the future again.

further more dont forget to thank riddick, chesty, matt, pacman, greg (sorry if i did not list you) and all past present, and future airsoft game hosts/admins, for keeping airsoft alive in the northwest region of america. airsoft is a game of integrity and with economic times like these its hard to see the true meaning of the word until we can truly experience it ourselves.
