Had a great time playing and enjoyed the overall game. Thanks to Pharaoh and crew for the fine leadership.
Thank you Rick and all the admins for your hard work!
Thanks to the Medhi for being an aggressive force that kept us on our toes.
Thank you Matt for being the photog and thank you Graham for the delicious cookies!
My hardcore player of the day award goes to Infidel who took a swim and made a sizable chunk of medhi disappear on the other end, your dedication to the 4th is well noted!

A special side note to the guy who yelled "f-U mother F-er " when I said to stop the blind firing- I gave you a pass on that one but if you ever try it in the future I will personally remove you from the field as your attitude/behavior is exactly whats wrong with a a sizable chunk of players.

That would have been me, I loved how you sank to that level to try and call that on someone.
I hate it when people blind fire, but It's ok that you feel the need to start yapping your jaw when you get beat fair and square.

Every time I play up here at tac tac there is a mandatory video that is to be watched, they specifically talk about blind firing, so I am 100% aware of what not to do while firing my aeg at someone.
So how about the next time you feel that you need to ruin someones day by calling something like, just try to keep it to yourself please.

p.s. take a look at my avatar. That's how I fire my weapon every single time.

Thanks

I tried the vehicle thing and I am done with it unless it's simply to escort players from point A to point b and only driven by admins.

Jester will you pm me items that were not covered in the handbook. I would like to know what those are.

I am headed out to the field Thursday around noon to do clean up for my event and in general. If anyone would like to help me. I'll buy you lunch and shake your hand.

There isn't a perfect event but I do my hardest to provide an atmosphere of fun and safety.

Rick, re the vehicles, if the rules are in hard print, then everyone will have no excuse for violating them. Mostly I heard that people did not know what was expected of them and did what they thought best from their perspective. That is why I'm trying to reclaim the Proposed AP vehicle rules from the past. ( help anyone?)

Please PM me your cell #, I can probably make it up there early Thurs, as I live about 20 minutes away.

I wanna say thanks for the game Rick. And A good job to the 3 other players that held that fort down for nearly an hour while we were promised reinforcements. To be honest I could of cared less if reinforcements came, thats what made it fun.

Just a few short things...

1. I had fun. I am a$$ tired but I had fun.
2. P6, thanks for organizing our team.
3. Admin, thanks for being on the field, but I would hope that all the admin are all on the same page about things next time.
4. Thanks the Dan and the Medhi for kicking our a$$. Most of the team had underestimated you and CAG, and I am glad you brought it to us.
5. 1st plt. I was a pleasure being your commander even though we were split up all day. I know my leadership need some work and I will do a better job next time.
6. Edg, thanks for the good game and it was a blast running with you all.
7. Assholes camping that were loud and drunk Friday @ 0300. I already yelled at you so I won't any further....lol.

All in all it was a fun day and I am still tired as hell.

One other comment:

There were way to many people who didn't know what "CQC Legal" meant. I had to tell a few people to not use their AEG's in the buildings because they were shooting around 400 FPS. Other close quarter rules were challenged that were common sense. Or at least I thought they were. Grenades were another issue. People were tossing in random tennis balls and plastic Frags that were not supposed to be on the field at all. They then proceeded to complain when we said WTF? and threw it back.

I'm gonna be the a$$ and point out the elephant in the room. It seems like the games that have a whole lot of +5 attached to registered names have the most problems with cheating and rules getting broken. I can only connect this with the fact that new players don't understand the rules put into place by the community because they have not been around long enough or just don't play the way we do. There is very little that can be done about this because the players that cause the most problems don't come around enough or read the forums to fully understand this. The question I have is; How can we change this? How can we keep the players that pop up for the large events and OPs from just showing up and acting like Rambo for 5 hours? P6 did a great job keep almost all of EDG in line. Everyone worked together beautifully but it was mainly those of us that have been around for a while. My argument is one that has been around for many years and it is very open ended with possible solutions.
We can add age restrictions and limit our camo down to 2 types. But that won't increase the quality of players who go to the large games. With school becoming more and more demanding as I progress, there has been less and less time for airsoft in my life. It's very heart breaking to see such hard work get upsidedown over by a few people that "Don't care." And ultimately drives me to be selective with the games I go to because I don't know what group of people I am getting involved with.

Enough negative drama llama BS. P6, any game you attend as CO I will do my damn best to attend under your command. We need more people like you to push the boundaries of this hobby into more positive territories.

When playing around teenagers your example is one that they will feel is the norm. Beings I'm in law enforcement I spend my work days dealing with people who have been raised with no/bad role models and a lack of personal responsibility. Thanks for taking responsibility and remember in the future your example gives you no room to complain if someone responds in kind.

That's funny because I think you may have miss heard me, I never said mother f er. I said I have been playing airsoft longer then you have been alive..
I try my best to present myself in a calm and collected manner, its the other half of the guys out there that go beyond the limits and start calling people names. I have a ton of respect for the game and Airsoft pacific's community, I drove all the way down from Seattle with my uncle to play in this one and had no intentions on making a mockery of myself and other players in a community that I am a guest in..
I wouldn't be talking either because I heard you tell some teenager that was hanging on a tree branch at RezIII that he had better get off that tree or he would see your real steel. And with talk like that at an airsoft event can prove even a lesser image as to of what teenagers should be saying. So like I said next time you feel the urge to start yapping stop and think before you do!

thanks

Great game, thank-you to Rick, Admins and Field owners. I did not attend the night game because of past experience with late nights, loud music, and drinking. All good and fine in their rightful places!
Overall Little confusion on spawns, timing etc but you run into that in warfare with trained troops... Thanks for hosting and I will see if I can squirrel out of some work on Thur for cleanup!
Special Props to the fellow in the last 1/3 hour who chatted with me about his sniper rounds powderizing on the building I was in near the front corner of the field :D A very good sport that fellow :!:

Thanks Rick, I enjoyed making the trip down to another one of your games. Glad that people try to keep airsoft going in a positive direction. Looking forward to the next one at Warpaint. Kudos to the admins and all of the guys driving the vehicles, I thought that it definitely put a good twist to the game play.

Comments towards the event promoter-
Vehicles: Its a hot topic, in the future the drivers of vehicles should actually know WTF the vehicle rules are, and there should be an admin for each vehicle.
The camping was solid, no complaints, the reg/chrono area went smoothly. In the future could we get started earlier?

Comments toward players-
Bad sports: I saw lots of blind firing, dead man hacking, pretending to be dead then shooting people, friendly fire, and generally people being terrible sportsmen.

30 minutes to the end there was a squad of Mehdi that were spawn camping the EDG orchard spawn, really poor playing gentlemen. That little vehicle roadblock near the EDG orchard spawnpoint at the end was pretty grey area on the rules, and as far as sportsmanship was god-awful.
