Thoughts on how well this would work.

Discuss anything and everything here that's Airsoft related.

the E1 M28 is a full length rifle.

you want a scout rifle for the task you are describing...

under 29 inches in length total

iron sights for targets @ 60-70 feet.

LER scope for range shots.

hey, i built one of those....and it is

AWSOME!

I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

KA-BAR's Scout is indeed pretty sweet, especially if you move about around the permiters of the conjested areas.

I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

I think you're wanting more of a designated marksman role.

I'm pretty sure Patrick is stupid. What you're describing isn't a new concept, it's a DM (not a bleeding scout sniper) role, as has been previously said. Honestly, having a longer-range asset in a fireteam/squad can be an awesome thing, so go ahead and have at it.

I was putting it into terms he could understand. I know what a DM is. I have a DMR and try to be a DM whenever i can.

Calling one thing something different isn't putting it in different terms.
