My prototype plate:

Ok, the plate I made here is a standard 10X12 inch.
So just to confirm you want 2 10X12 plates?

Looks good for a first go at it. No offense, but if you were to try to sell them, getting it down so they are repeatable and consistent with low/no errors, then getting some good reference pictures would do you wonders for advertising.

Could you fill them with sand to simulate the weight of a real plate?

To Amos: They are 3/4 of an inch thick.
To quigly: They are not my business and I am not trying to sell mass quantities, I bought enough supplies bulk to make a limited run so I figured id sell the extras I made.
To Mini-Marine: You could weight them, if you took some cut steel or iron plate and JB Welded them into the foam before you fiberglassed them.

Bad news Nasty, I left the plates outside to dry and the cold weather warped the fiberglass resin and caused it to bubble and come off in some places. They are still functioning plates that fit really well inside of plate carriers, they just don't look as good as they first did. But I will still be bringing them to LOW if you are still interested, if not I understand.

If they're curved, I'll nab a set. If they turn out to be too big for my S/M EPC, I'll just chuck them in my large one
