Why? Don't they know paintball is dead?

Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

Yeah I think it was like 1,400 at the last big event at SD.

Thanks code789, I had been wondering about how PB would be effected by the law. The hearing was slated for today but I heard it was pushed back another week.

The BB and pellet poeple are also distancing themselves from airsoft rather than supporting it.

Hopefully the NRA and other Orgs that support our plight will step it up. If not I guess we will continue being the "Redheaded Step Child" of the Milsim world, and this bill very well may pass the senate.

No the quote said Bigger than 10mm will be excluded. They know better than to take on Paintball in this country.

In America it's all about marketing, product recognition, and popularity.

It's not soda pop, it's "Would you like a Coke" And if you are talking Milsim to the average Joe it's "Yeah lets get the guys together and try paintball."

could take the motor out and call it nonfiring collector's replica and make the box out of cheap plastic which basically is a presentation case

Brilliant politics on De-Leon's part.

I'm not sure how this will turn out at this point. Most paintballers seem to still oppose SB798, but their Safety Organization (http://www.facebook.com/SavePaintballin ... ia?sk=wall) has decided to support it.

Seems like paintballers have the perfect chance to get rid of us.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention G36

The audacity of some people WOW!

At least there are plenty of painballers on that page saying it is idiotic to get this thing passed in spite of what the page is saying.

They are right. An attack against shooting sports will affect everyone eventually. It sets precedence for more regulatory action in the future. No good can come of it.

That's the same bullshit I wtf'd about earlier. I cant believe how retarded they are, but if there's one thing about this state I'm in...

shazaam this place. I'm outta here.

Before then though, I think it's better to get the damned cheap replicas OUT from places that have little control i.e. the local swap meets, ice cream trucks, etc. Where I live, no one says a word about having a 5 year old with absolutely no goggles start shooting them around like as if its a fuckin' NERF game. Then they blame us. Stupid a$$ neighbors.

Well, more specifically they blamed it on ME after knowing I had a replica. For "influencing them (the kids)".
