Well, when I plug in a battery on a brand new gun, only to have it lock up without firing one bb, try to find the problem unsuccessfully, RMA it, only to have it still not work properly, and in the end never have it work properly, that says something. :/ Granted, Tiki is not an outstanding tech, but the Tactac tech is decent as far as I can tell, and even after it got downgraded to a non-retarded FPS level, it worked poorly.

Say what you will, but that scared me away from VFC gearboxes.

Yeah, because people on my team say I need to fix it or downgrade it and tell me to go to people who turn out to be not good. At all. (Tiki, not you, Nec ;) )

I think you'll agree a 450 FPS M4 is sort of retarded... :(

Is the 450fps Socom Gear's doing? I didn't think VFC guns came shooting that hot.

Yeah, what SCG did was take a VFC gearbox and put a 450 FPS spring in it. :/

From what I understand, yeah. Good externals, but the internal... Meh, not worth it.

This thread = tl;dr. Just buy whatever you want, it will break eventually, and when it does you will buy upgrades. I say buy the biggest PoS gun you can right out of the box, so you have an excuse to buy better internals for it. :lol:
