What is the best anti fog? Do any local retailers in Eugene sell anti-fog?

Are these mesh goggles airsoft-okay?

I will not wear those even if they are for free - not rated for high velocity projectiles. Buy something from AONW.

You realize that you don't need anti-fog for mesh right...?

If you're asking about anti-fog, it's more the lens than what you put on it. Get a nice quality thermal lens; those things never fog.

If you're wanting to get mesh goggles, any of the ones linked will do fine, or Riddick sells them at games for 20$ I believe. I've had a set of those for a while and they're a quality set of eyepro.

Best anti-fog: Dish soap. Place 1 drop on front/back of each lens (4 drops). Smear around with finger. Cover lens. Let dry. Lightly buff until clear.

I got some of that "anti-fog" stuff at the outdoorsman show, and it only works on my higher-end eyepro.

Mesh is acceptable for use but they are not as safe as solid lenses. I have taken a shot to the mesh before, and gotten BB shrapnel in my eyes from the BB exploding against the mesh. Believe me this not an isolated case. That was the last time I wore mesh.

Actually some mesh goggles even state on the packaging to wear safety glasses under them.

I now use ESS Profile turbofan goggles. They are amazing. The fan keeps the lens fog free, and the lens is thick yet crystal clear. No distortion or wavy artifacts in the PC glass at all. They can withstand a shotgun blast at 30 Ft. and require no anti-fog application to stay clear.

If you must defog though, I have found a product called "Defog It" that works great.

Mesh has its advantages but also its set backs. I personally prefer using lenses. Dish soap as said earlier is a great cheap alternative. Also any kind of "anti-fog" works fine. However keep in mind that proper airflow with also help prevent fog. This means not smooshing your glasses close to your face. Sweat will also deteriorate anti-fog sprays if your eyepro is close to your face.
My sword runs at 450 FPS, try to out run that! 35+ Sword/Knife Kills and counting.

Dish soap, spit, anti-fog spray--none of it works as well as what most divers use. Go to the local dive store and get a bottle of Sea-Drops. Follow the directions. The only thing I've ever seen close to them in effectiveness is those ESS goggles with the fan. This is just $6 of drops that will work on any lens. Ask me to try it next time--I usually have them in my "spawn bag."

To the OP: I hate mesh--it tweaks with my vision. I've already done enough to tweak with my vision.

Rob, I exclusively use dish soap in my dive goggles... All the boats I've gone off of have big gallon jugs of it on board too...

I've also used toothpaste to good effect on my dive goggles.... minty fresh.

They use it because it's cheap and it's the tropics with warmer water.

All I'm saying is that I've used dish soap. Sea Drops are head and shoulders above it.
