Need help making a DMR

Postby glockmeister » Thu Jun 02, 2011 7:54 am

How do you make a gun only shoot on semi auto. I am turning my ar 15 into a DMR, and I need to know how to do this. Please don't give me stuff about cutting my selector plate or anything like that. Thanks everyone.

The hell is a DSR? I know what a DMR is, but DSR is new to me.

Options:
1.Get a mosfet/fire control computer.
2. Cut your selector.

Modifying the selector plate is probably the chgeaper option.

Why make your AR15 shoot semi-auto? Are you planning on upgrading it past 400fps? That's a very bad idea, because not all events/event hosts offer a DMR FPS limit. Electric guns can (and often are) limited to 400fps.

Have you ever used the BW LV? I would like to know if it is worth buying, I do want mosfet. It would work for the DMR and it is good for the overall gun.

I am planning on upgrading it to just under 500 fps. I do have other guns which I can use in the field if I can't use the DMR.

You know that the dmr limit that has been used has been variable, right? I've seen it 450, 475, 425....

I guess 400 would work well. I am getting a 509mm 6.03 tightbore barrel. My gearbox has been totally upgraded (everything except wiring and the cylinder). Do I need a new cylinder or will I be fine?
