At least once in Fringe I saw a brass inner barrel in a G19 that Agent Dunham was carrying.

i don't get why they don't just remove the inner barrels, or just cut them way down so you cant see them.

Cause the majority of people won't know the difference, and usually they are hoping that the lighting won't catch the inner barrel. And a majority of the time the guy who is purchasing the equipment is told, "yeah it's just for long shots. so don't worry about trade marks and what not, these ones won't make it into a close up." and then inevitability the director changes his mind and does a few close ups.

still, if i were an armorer for a film/tv show and i had a stock of airsoft guns on hand as props the first thing i did after swapping out the flash hiders would be to remove/cut down the inner barrels. its not like they are using them to actually shoot BBs, the extent of their operation would be to maybe fire some gas out of one of the handguns to have the slide cycle.
