Bummer, I'm sure we'll have another gathering in a couple months. Take care.

I saw a bundle of camo burlap @ a sporting goods store so I bought it. Was wondering if I should even bother trying to make a suit for the first time or wait to get tips & tricks from the event. Any advice?

God dam son of a phony pony. Of course with my luck I get tonsillitis the week before. Wish I could make it out. Maybe next time.

Sounds like a good time, I am in! Plus one more sniper with me. I look forward to learning some new tips and tricks.

Maginus - You can try building a suit, but I'll show you guys some camo techniques without even needing a ghillie suit. A boonie hat is kinda necessary, but there'll be lots of examples there so you can see the different ghillie's and figure out what you want to do for your own...rather than blowing a bunch of money 4 days before the event. Just bring a set of BDUs that fit the NW climate. We will be in thick vegetation.

Awesome time today. I had a lot of fun acting as Phiz' spotter. Group one they never saw us...lol. How you can miss me I will never know. Learned one very important lesson today.....I am much more effective along side a humvee then sneaking around in the bushes for an hour to make one shot.

Iam going to stick to being a rifleman....thanks Vaughn for setting this up.

I had a blast. And KA-BAR. I missed ya today buddy. I was going to yell "FREEZE"

Had a blast and learned a lot and I wasn't even a active player. Lot of good information learned here and it was a great day contrary to the weather report. You all were a great bunch to observe in action.
Thanks for sharing your skill sets Vaughn and thanks for letting me help out!

Had a great time crawling in the weeds. Thanks Vaughn for hosting and teaching, and everyone else for coming out. I learned a lot. Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks to everyone that showed up today! I'm glad to see that much enthusiasm still out there for the 'low crawlers'. I was very impressed with the hides & stalks. As you can see a little technique can go a long way over 'gucci' equipment. And a special kudos to Chesty who manned up and donned a viper hood and did excellent with a hide and attempted a stalk with some good success!

I'll plan on doing this again sometime in July, with a few improvements, better organization, more targets, and hopefully a few more players.

Admins - Thank you all for coming out and helping. Not a glorious position but definitely needed. Hopefully the more interest we have along with improved skillsets, we can see the sniper role take on more importance with upcoming games/events.

Remember: You don't choose who will die - you simple 'allow' people to live on your field.
