Hey, I know it's been a while since the game, but I've been pretty busy. That game was a blast, and thanks to everyone who made it happen. A few folks were mentioning the ups and downs of the younger folks who participated, and I was flipping through the pictures (and thanks *a ton* for posting those, they are awesome!) and I wanted to give extra props to this kid:

I was hunkered down in the armory with him at one point and he kept telling me where folks were, and when I asked him why *he* didn't shoot them, he told me that his gun was broken, so he'd brought it out to the parking lot, and *still came back to play*!! I was pretty impressed that even without a gun, this kid still wanted to be in on the game. I gave him my pistol on the spot, and I felt bad that I only had the one clip for it and a speedloader, and I'd really forgotten about it until I saw this picture, but it looks like he made the most of it. He also made extra sure to get it back to me at the end of the game. Everything about RezIII was a blast, and I can't wait for the next one.

THAT is the kind of player I like to hear about.

Kudos to him, whoever he is. I routinely grouch about the "my gun is down, so I quit" people.

Broken gun, back in game, in yellow...

A role model.

I think it really was the yellow suit that put him over the top for me, not only did he stick around with no gun, but also while wearing a giant yellow "SHOOT ME" billboard.
