If it's a success and people want it - I could put the training on every couple months just so people can stay up on their skills and train a few newcomers. It's rare that snipers are used properly in games, maybe if we get some quality trained people the event organizers will finally design proper missions around the role.

- Rosters Updated -

At this point it looks like the weather is calling for about 62 degrees with showers. So be prepared for the weather. If you plan on backing out due to weather, please let me know. It's not a big deal, I just don't want myself and those helping to show up and setup the field for 4 people. I'm building targets and having people volunteer their time to walk/spot for the stalk (which is the major part of this training). I know some folks are worried about their gear getting wet - but are we going to quit every time it rains in the Pac NW? Prepare accordingly, I'm looking forward to it, should be a fun day. Again this is going to be laid back - train at your own pace.

Suggested Gear List:

BDU Uniform w/ Boonie Hat or Ghillie Suit
Eye Protection
Rain Gear
Airsoft Rifle & Ammo (perhaps a backup rifle as well)
Rifle Sling (not required, but helpful for some techniques)
Gas (If your rifle requires it)
Spare battery
Magazines
Radios (we may be using them if we have time to run a scenario)
Binoculars
Rubber Bands or Hair Ties (to tie veg to weapon)
Nylons (can be painted & used for camo on a gun you don't want to spray paint it)
Spray paint (I'll bring some to share)
Face Paint
Camo netting/bulap/jute thread
Food/Snacks & Plenty of Water
Positive attitude

Like I said, I will be bringing a large tarp to make at lease a little bit of cover. However, I have not been able to find any rope. If someone has a good amount they would be willing to use to tie up a shelter, let me know, other wise I won't even bring it.
My father once told me, "Some times all you have is a bullet and a prayer, don't miss."

remember that parachute chord is very strong and cheap. you can get a hundred feeet for like $10.00 at i am sure almost any surplus store. also most walmarts carry it near the household and automotive sections of their stores. another idea is to pick up clothesline from walmart or fredmeyer. that stuff is pretty strong too.

***START TIME CHANGE - 1000 HRS***

I will be out at the field at 0900 HRS setting up, so you're welcome to show up then. Please have your gear and be ready to start at 1000 HRS.

I'll have a 10x10 awning out there - for you pansies that think you're too sweet and going to melt in the rain ;)

Got 4 metal targets made this weekend & gear put together for walkers.

Admins - I'll be sending you PMs.
