Great game guys.
Just want to say a couple things:
1. Thanks Tavin for running with us, great times.
2.Thanks Rick for the awesome game and the great price on green gas. Saved my a$$ on that. :D
3.Thanks for all of the complements on my G39c. Guess I have to keep that...
4. Great night game. I was hunkered down in one of the trenches with my mag almost out of ammo with a battle going on between the Survivors and the infected on both sides. I just about pooped myself over that...

That is all I have for now.
Thanks for the great game everyone.

I can't speak to Sunday but Saturday was well played with a few incidents we admin tried to deal with quickly.
I had a great time interacting with everyone during and after the game. Some of the marks of a good game- teamwork, no cries of "call your hit", no questions like when is lunch? and an event that keeps players so busy they are on their toes constatntly. This is what happened, thanks to Riddick for upping the level of gameplay with something more than sector control. To all my fellow admins, player admins and the like thank you! Thanks Chapped for stepping up with a torqued back to fill in for me, it was greatly appreciated!
To all the players-big up for making our jobs fun, I hope you all enjoyed it and I appreciated the feedback throughout the game as it does make a diference.
I borrowed a camera from Canis on Saturday and probably took close to 200 pics also which I'm sure he'll post up soon enough, thank you Sir!
I also wanted to thank everyone who chipped in wood for Fridays campfire, it was good to have a great fire and good conversation

Amazing game Riddick and thanks for changing the infected respawn time. I probably spent a few hours there with all the rushing we did, but we were able to join the fight just that much sooner.

It looks like personal galleries are working, just not the event photos?

I could look at Matt's pictures, anyway?

I havent been an admin at a game since I helped Matt at the PDX CAGE with the CS games so it was refreshing to get back out there. As an admin, it's neat to be able to see everything happen without worrying about who has you in their sights (even though I got shot more than the players (thank you Bishop)). At points during the games I would see one team on one side of the wall and the other team opposite.

On the first day I was suprised to have heard that 100 players never showed up. To those who didn't: it makes things hard when people say they'll show up and the host plans for that and then they dont show up. In the very least, post to let the host know. Granted, at points during the first day it was an enormous clusterf*ck inside the data center (2 story building) and in the surrounding area which led to several issues involving engagement distances and saftey kills. One individual yelled 'bang!' nine separate times, managing to kill nine inidviduals but this led to a discussion that the words 'saftey kill' needs to be said LEGIBLY once for each individual that you would have otherwise shot. In one instance two players ended up point blank blind firing at one another, a bit rediculous. Lastly, on the second day, individuals from one team confronted others from another team about distances of engagement, resulting in threats of kicking claimed offender from the field.

This is an area where I feel, as a player and admin, I shouldn't have to talk about. CALLING YOUR HITS. It's a simple notion that ends up resulting in several people ending up butthurt, uptight, angry, and having their game ruined because some kid believes that he can go rambo because he doesn't want to haul his lazy a$$ back to his spawn which is a mere 100m behind him. The first day we had a couple people who were hit and didnt call themselves out, which can be understandable when the person is wearing a plate carrier and has guns blazing around them and is believing that ricocheting bb's are striking them, it happens. Often throughout the game you'd hear people yell "Call your f*cking hits!", but as we walked over to the accused 'cheater' it was clear that the bb's were falling short some 25 feet away, point being, dont call others out when theyre some 150ft away or more, just ask for an admin. But on the second day, a situation happened that suprised me and struck me as the most unsportsmanship-like thing that i've seen. (I won't name names, you know who you are), As I was walking around I came up to the armory and heard this: "Dude, did you just see that guy hit me?""ya""well whatever, i wont call it, we need to hold this position." I calmly told him "well i will" and sent him back to his spawn while telling him how unsportsmanship-like his actions were and thats what can ruin the game for others. What's even worse is that other players that must have been aged 20+ ignored his comment. Later on, not 20 minutes after this (while standing next to Chapped), the same player was struck in the ear and sat back down next to his buddies and hesitated to call his hit and when he looked over to see both of us staring at him he stood back off and called himself out. It was pretty bad.

On a positive note, the players from Idaho were great and had a great attitude on and off the field. The night game, for the first time running one Riddick, it was great and the tracers that were used were cool to watch and made me envious of those who used them. And as usual, Rick (Riddick) created a phenomenal game in which everyone was focused on their objective and immersed in the action. Everyone should have said thank you and shook his hand for the amount of work that he does both in preparation, set-up, and the actual creation and running of the game, its amazing what he does.

@Ogre: great talking with you and fantastic playing attitude and sportsmanship and heres another great conversation: when the two survivors ran across the village with the items and Ogre fired upon them they yelled that they were survivors and all i hear is Ogre yell "Im not!"...made my day. Well-played
@Ka-bar: I appreciate your threats towards me and the laughs
@Chesty: By far the best organized team leader and the fact that yu got your team to load YOUR mags...whipped
@Jackal: Watch the way you man-handle the hostage, I felt uncomfortable :D
@Bishop: Don't shoot me in the hand again and by far the best safety kill...if only you had grabbed the barrel

To the rest of you; thank you for one of the best games i've been to and I look forward to either being an admin again or joining you in the continuous battle of plastic.

Riddick! Thank you for a wonderful game. It goes a long way when the event organizer is willing to switch up game play in order to make things more balanced and engaging.

Ogre- I'll be on your team any time.

Thanks guys for making the drive worth it!

To those of you who were honorable at this game, thank you. By HONORABLE I mean:

1. By showing up - honoring your word that you would be there. I received a message early Sunday morning advising I shouldn't come due to the lack of players. I refused because I was ready to already honor my commitment. I know life happens, but 100 players no show with no message? Weak. Weather can no longer be an excuse. It's Oregon, most of us live around here and know the fuggin weather. Dress for it. I don't think there needs to be a witch hunt for you all, but you know who you are. By not showing not only did you miss out on fun, you also weakened the experience of the other players who were expecting you to be there. You let the community down. Lets face it folks, if people don't show up for a game, who you gonna shoot and have fun with? Like it or not, we're a community. Do you think out of town guests will return knowing what a weak showing our community had? Seriously MAG, you Idaho guys are standup players and you're welcome anytime.

2. Taking your hits - We're better than paintballers folks, or so I thought. I know some misunderstandings happen on the field, some people think they're better marksmen than they really are, but when I shoot a rope of BBs at someone and I can physically see the white BBs bouncing off of his BLACK sweater, with two witnesses right beside me, ridiculous. What's wrong with taking a hit? Walking back to respawn? Not like we all couldn't use a little PT? We're not playing for prizes or money people. I know people are competitive but if people aren't going to take hits, then what's the point of playing airsoft? What do we need to do to remedy the problem? It's an increasing problem and it's ruining gameplay because people are getting so irritated about poor sportsmanship.

3. Good sportsmanship - I got lit up by my own team probably 3 times. Irritating because my wife & I had just snuck into an area and were holding it down pretty well. I uttered some profanities and marched back to respawn, but one man came up to me, shook my hand, and apologized - I felt like a real asshole for muttering the words I did. That is honorable and very sportsman like. I don't know your name sir, but thank you (I believe it was a guy from MAG). Later in the game I had a face to face w/ Riddick who was in an ATV, just as some Infected players were stalking me & my wife. After I finished the meeting, I called myself out, without a shot being fired. They had the drop on me and I had no problem hoofing it back uphill to respawn. I'm sure there were many stories of good sportsmanship, but the bad sportsmanship stories always seem to come up more often. Share the good experiences folks - as a community we need to encourage good gameplay.

@Riddick - Killer game man, wish I could have made it Saturday. I thought the gameplay and the objectives were well thought out. You made a huge investment into the game and it showed. Don't let the critics & cynics get to you. You work hard and I want you to know that it's recognized.

@KA-BAR - It was fun rollin with ya for a bit, sounds like you had a hell of a motivated team, didn't leave a whole lot for me to do once I arrived for Sunday! Nice mountme hat :)

And to the dude with the mohawk that kept giving my wife elevator eyes, we saw ya - and she's not interested ;)

First and formost, that is the most amazing game I have been to riddick, I dont care in the least what anyone else says that was AMAAZING!!! If games that follow from both you and other people are even half as good I am going to have to abandon my girlfriends free time and get weekends off.

I saw both good and bad sportsmenship alike out there all weekend. The bad watching my bbs indent a players coat from 40ft away and having no hit called, you know the usual gripe. but the good was having hand shakes with guys you just shot and compliments on flanks (specificly behind the power station :D )

I owe and apology though for some bad sportsman ship/ forgetfulness on my part. Day 2 when the Survivors were in the village right next to the military spawn point I came out of the respawn unloading not realizing my death rag was still tied around my head. Sorry I swear I did not realize it but the looks of confusion were pretty funny.

@chesty. Great leadership even if everyhting kinda fell apart in the second day.

@Grim/Bishop(unsure) great job teaching first platoon first day how to move as a unit these are things we shoud have already known.

@alll leadership and admins thankyou guys so much this game would never have gone as smoothly if it were not for you.

@Riddick thanks once again for putting so much of your time and money into making this game possible for all of us to enjoy
