I figured I'd introduce myself while I'll mostly just lurk and read things for a bit.

I've pretty much just started playing airsoft and have no experience playing really. I got some friends and we are mostly playing on our own for now trying to get used to how our AEG's work.

I think the biggest question I got is where to really play. I know in town there is an arena here in Hillsboro but we'd like to just mess around on our own learning some basics before branching into larger groups. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Mostly cause I'd like to avoid playing anywhere we aren't supposed.

BLM land is pretty free as long as you don't charge money or shoot over roads/bodies of water.

Come out to a skirm or a CAG training weekend. Big games are fine for new players too, just be ready to follow directions.

Welcome to AP; Oregon Airsoft is nice if you can get the place to yourself and some buddies, and there are plenty of games close to Hillsboro. Like Res III today and tomorrow!
